Hi frnds,  Facing attached error while launching Emulator on VM. Please guide if anyone has installed and launched emulator.

Hi All, Refer Degraded Node Detection should be enable. But it could allow disable in Prism. May we know when or why should disable Degraded Node Detection? Best regards

We are trying out nutanix and in the installer, it asks me for CVM..When i chose the 7mm that clearly is SSD it says its HDD and will not install on it..Is there any workaround for installing cvm on this disk?/pålt7mm - Bay 0 LEN MTFDDAK240TDS-1AW1ZA  Normal 240 GB SATA SSD 2.5"”

My organization is going to be embarking on an NDB implementation this year and due to our existing clustering technology, our SQL Server infrastructure relies heavily on non-default instance names for our machines (i.e.  hostname\instancename).  If we’re able to preserve this on databases that bring across to NDB, it will save us a great deal of time/effort in reconfiguring existing applications.  Is this something that we’re likely to be able to achieve in NDB?  Put differently, I’m hoping that we’ll be able to preserve existing host and instance names.

When setting up my blueprints, i want to lock down most of the configuration to prevent user error. I basically only want a user to be able to adjust the cores, RAM, and size of the data disk. So, i’m clicking the running-person icons to set them to black, meaning not-user-changeable. However, when i Save the change, it goes back to blue. I can’t get the user modifiable/not-modifiable config to stick. Am i missing something here? Thanks!

Hi, Nutanix AHV cluster with default management 192.168.168.100 in eth0 and eth1(LACP), could Nutanix AHV cluster create second management interface in another network port and another subnet?  Best regards

After I tested different features about Prism Central I’d like to reduce the size of the VM. Now the VM has 18vCPU and 70Gb RAM, it’s to much for my normal use. Is it possible to reduce the vm?

On the Prism analysis page, I want to see the disk usage chart for the VM.I created Chart by adding Disk Usage(%) to Metric, but I got No dataIt's coming. Is it a feature that's not supported?

How can I get Nutanix Move? When I go to https://portal.nutanix.com/ I get this. I’m running CE edition, and would like to test out moving from test ESXi to my CE edition.

I would like to create variables that are reusable in blueprints - things like package store URI, proxy URL, etc. I don’t think it makes sense to define these in every blueprint, as they’re identical; we want to keep that kind of thing DRY.The docs state that Variable Types defined in the Library are reusable across blueprints. But if I define MY_VAR as a new Variable Type with a value, it has no value when expanded in a blueprint script as @@{MY_VAR}@@. What is the trick to defining these vars at the Library level and using them in Blueprints? Thanks!

I would like to know what the root cause for this Warning Alert. I am working on converting my scripts to Powershell 7.x. I tried to use the Nutanix cmdlets 2.0.1 provided for Prism Central. Attempting to connect to Prism Central is failing. Six months ago I played around with it and it worked then but now does not.Our main Prism Central instance is pc.2023.1.0.2. We also have a test instance which is pc.2023.4. Want to download ISO NGT . Same process like VBox_Tools for example .

A disk failed at one node and replaced the disk.I'm trying to restart with CVM and connect to SSHAuthentication continues to fail.Node is in maintenance mode.An SSH key was created to connect without a password, but the node is not connected through the key.Is there another way to connect to a single mode like regular Linux?Or is there a way to create a new CVM?

Is there a feature within the Nutanix Sizer that allows for manual adjustment of the vCPU to pCPU ratio? If so, could someone guide me through the process or point me to the relevant documentation or resources?
