With that release, we introduced our first support for Files Storage running in a Metro cluster configuration. At that time, the release only supported Nutanix Files Storage running in a Metro cluster configuration with the VMware ESXi hypervisor. Starting August 1, 2025, all Nutanix technical certifications—including NCA, all NCPs, and NCM—will move from a 2-year to a 3-year validation period. This update aligns the frequency of recertification with the current pace of change in the Nutanix Cloud Platform and reflects best practices observed across similar certification programs.All current technical certifications at version 6.5 or higher will be automatically extended to a 3-year validity period. Any technical certifications earned on or after August 1, 2025, will be valid for 3 years.The following certifications are affected by this policy change.
