Hi everyone,I’m currently working on a use case in Nutanix Prism Central and would appreciate your guidance.**Requirements:*** Assign a dedicated VM to each user.* When a user logs into Prism Central via an IAM Windows Server link (SSO), the VM assigned to that user should automatically power on.* When the user logs out, the VM should automatically power off (or shut down gracefully).**Questions:**1. Is there any built-in feature in Prism Central or Nutanix IAM that supports this kind of user-to-VM assignment with automatic power control?2. Can this be achieved using Nutanix Calm, Runbooks, or automation policies?3. What is the recommended way to trigger actions based on user login/logout events (e.g., via audit logs, webhooks, or IAM integration)?4. Are there any best practices for mapping users to VMs (e.g., using categories or tags)?If anyone has implemented a similar solution or can suggest an approach, I'd really appreciate your input.Thanks in advance!

Hi,I’m looking to deploy the L4 load balancers for domain controller services LDAP(S), NTP, & DNS, you know they type of thing that gets addresses programmed into devices/applications.I can create a LB session for an IP and have it listen on multiple ports 53,123,636 but when I gets round to selecting the destination VM Nic's I can only specify a single port for the destination.  Is there any way to balance multiple services from a set of hosts with a single VIP, or will I need to create an LB session and separate VIP for each of the services?Also some of the documentation i read said that It’s possible to use VM Categories to select the destination VM’s, but I don’t seem to have that option, which version do I need to be running to get that?

Hello, I have recently deployed nutanix with Foundation, and every went well and I can access the PE from web browser. But when I go the Virtual Switch section, I cannot See vs0 in Switch Tab, not sure what is the issue. I go to Cluster Setting and Reboot the cluster, but it keep on processing and so on entering in maintenance mode. Can anyone help.    Regards

I have a few questions and would love to hear from people who have been through it.- How did you separate PCI workloads from other workloads in your Nutanix cluster?- Did you use Nutanix Flow for network segmentation? I recently deployed Nutanix , but when I am opening web browser it is showing and I belive that it might be the certificate issue. I issued a commad to check the certificate in CVM and it is showing below and my system team already passed the date and time, what might be the other issue. We have created Auto shutdown playbook of AHV host with scheduled but facing issue, when Prism Central ON , these scheduled initiated before time and we not  able to to access prism central , so disable  playbook task. Prism element started then PC started and excuted these playbook schedule and shutdown 2 AHV from Prism cluster.

Buenas gente,Seguro que los que teneis el placer de administrar clusteres de Nutanix os habeis encontrado con estos mensajes al conectar a los cvm e incluso a los hosts** Notice: SSH will no longer be available in upcoming releases.      ** Nutanix Support may access the bash shell on an exceptional basis.Por lo que dice el mensaje, la conexion por SSH se quitará para poder administrar directamente los CVMs y los Host accediendo al bash (solo en excepciones o por soporte) en futuras versiones, me imagino que por temas de seguridad y por el peligro que tienen muchos, yo incluido.Me imagino que en futuro habra que hacerlo todo con ncli, apis o via web con Prism centro o Prism element, pero bueno, eso me imagino. Alguien sabe si van a sacar alguna herramienta para la linea de comandos? sera con ncli desde un windows o linux? Saludos y gracias de antebrazo!
