How to get SATADOM firmware Version on Nutanix AHV Hosts. We are planning to upgrade Hardware Firmware and need to upgrade SATADOM firmware before that. Also, it;s not showing under LCM. We are using AOS 5.15.1 and having latest NCC, Foundation installed.

Hi, I have built up a Darksite LCM running in my own local network and have Internet access to download necessary Darksite bundles for upgrading. In my testing evironment, the server works flawlessly with Dell XC cluster and Nutanix cluster as well but with DX cluster, it cannot provide any firmware update at this time though currently at least 1 node in our cluster is running on an old SPP version (2019.03.01). For our DX environment: Node1: 2020.03.0 SPP Node2: unverified? (LCM cannot detect the SPP version) Node3: 2019.03.01 SPP Does anyone have any idea on this case?

Is there a document that guides on how to use Move migration via command line interface?  I know that there is a web GUI tool.  But, I am wondering if there is another way thru CLI.

Hi folks, I have done a successfull VM migration using Nutanix Move 3.5.2 from ESXI 6.5 to AHV 20191030.415. All migration process is validated and fine, the VM can be migrated from ESXI to AHV but it failed when I try to boot in from AHV console as this picture :   

if the ipmi vlan option is disabled and i configured the switch side ports to a specific vlan, Will i be able to reach the ipmi if i connect my workstation to an interface in the switch with same vlan or do i need to enable the vlan option in nutanix and put the vlan tag as well.?

How long does LVM inventory take?  We have a 7 node cluster and it takes a very very long time to inventory.  There are 202 tasks.  It started an hour and 20 minutes ago and its only on task 63 out of 202.  Is this normal? We are running LCM 2.3.1.3.18618.

  You are trying to expand a new node into the cluster. I am trying to expand after installing ahv,aos(not cluster settiong option) as a foundation on a new node. When do I set the existing cluster ovs settings? Or I am wondering if the setting is automatically entered upon expansion.

Does anybody encountered this kind of error? when migrating ESXI to AOS. After how many hours of seeding, It show this error. However it is ready to cutover, but doesn’t want to proceed further because of this error. I already checked this VM in EsXi, it already have a VMware tools installed. Hope i can get ideas and recommendations from you guys. Thanks!

Hi, It’s possible to manually adjust the file /var/nutanix/etc/kubernetes/manifests/kube-apiserver.yaml and apply this update into the kubernetes cluster? I tried to adjust and after run: sudo systemctl daemon-reload && sudo systemctl restart kubelet-master But when I describe the kube-api pod I see that the adjusts are not applied. Anibal

I’m about to upgrade vcenter from 6.7 u1 to 6.7 u3. I’m only upgrading the vCenter for now. My AOS version 5.10.8.1 To upgrade only vVenter is there any action to take in PRISM? Will there be any impact on PRISM?   Thanks

Hello everybody, I booked an NCSE exam for Thursday, July 9th, 2020 and went through the mail from PSI Services LLC again to be prepared for the exam. When I went to the Nutanix University website for the link "take an axam" it is no longer available. Apparently, the website has changed. It was still available before the weekend. I need  to download the secure browser for the exam. Can someone help me where I can find this link now?

Hi All I have created a MS server 2016 VM with a view to using it as a desktop , however it does not seem to have away to add anaudio / soundcard device - is there a way to add one in Nutanix?  I have found a way in VMware but not Nutanix. Any ideas? Thanks Eric

Hi, im new in nutanix. I have 1 cluster with 2 blocks and 4 nodes here. Everything went fine until im seeing no detail in memory usage unlike other of my VMs. How can this happen? I need my memory usage detail to monitor any of my VMs with high resource usage. Any Solution to solve this off?
