Hello all,

Is it possible to install the french version of Windows server 2016 using nutanix foundation ?

I wonder this because in the iso whitelist, I only see english versions of windows server 2016 as supported versions.

Thanks.

Hi Ange,

yes, i just verified and we support installation only from the ISOs that are in the whitelist, so English only. The reason is that there are some scripts running that might fail in other languages in the path is not default like for example C:\Program Files.

The best way is to install the English version and then get the language pack if you need it.

Yes, it should be ok. The french ISO should work.

Also, you can install the English version and later change the language to French in the settings.

Hello Sergei,

Thanks for your reply...I feel more comfortable with the second option (install the English version and after change it to french).

Thanks.
