I am looking to replace my SSL certificates on my Prism Central and Prism Element deployments with Lets Encrypt wildcard certificates. I can request the wildcard certificates easily enough sudo certbot -d example.com -d *.example.com --manual --preferred-challenges dns-01 --server https://acme-v02.api.letsencrypt.org/directory certonly I get generated three files: privkey = /etc/letsencrypt/live/example.com/privkey.pem chain = /etc/letsencrypt/live/example.com/chain.pem fullchain = /etc/letsencrypt/live/example.com/fullchain.pem Can anyone advise what openssl commands I can use to convert these .pem files to the required format needed for Prism Central/Prism Element? I have attempted multiple commands from https://www.sslsupportdesk.com/openssl-commands/ but I can't seem to find the exact one. I created a Project in Prism Central and assigned a bunch of users to it, expecting them to be able to provision their own VMs with cloud-init configs customised to their liking.I found this awesome example code https://www.nutanix.dev/code_samples/create-linux-vm-customised-with-cloud-init/ which shows it can be done with API calls, however, as a user in the Project, there does not seem to be any options in the PC UI that allow me to specify a custom script when creating a VM.Are custom scripts deliberately hidden when using Projects? How are my users supposed to customise their VMs?

I’m looking for a way to expand storage a 6-node VMware cluster (ESX 6.7 U3), adding one or more Storage-only node could be an option. But, as I know, Storage-only nodes come with AHV, so I’d like to understand how I could add those nodes to the existing cluster.Trying to picture the idea, I'm assuming that SO nodes would work as new storage pool and cannot be expanded the existing one, am I right? I'm looking for documentation that give me some direction about the idea I have in mind.Any idea about this?

When trying to move from esxi to AHV of a VM with OS Debian 10, I get an error This VM is not on the AHV supported OS list. To proceed with migrating this VM, please be sure to bypass guest operations and take care of installing AHV device drivers separately. This VM has a guest OS which is not supported on ESXi. Please remove the vm from the migration plan if migrating to ESXi. Is it OS not supported?

Hello All,I have successfully installed Prism Central and it has been working well. I have configured a “view” under the focus button in the vm’s menu; however, this setting will not stay once I log out and back in. Currently the process is once I log back in I need to click on focus and pick my view. Is there a way to make that my default view? Maybe tie the view to my user account? I attempted several times to move a test VM over and I am running into a issue with the Mount Container process. Is there a fix for this. Hi, I often get the error of: Warning : Disk space usage for /home on Controller VM... Does anyone have a definitive list of what needs to be deleted beyond the installation files? or a script that deletes the un-needed files? Surely it is something Nutanix should be building in to the system, I never have problems with VMware running out of installation space! Thanks Eric

Hi Everyone,I want to ask some questions.I have 1365G6 , and then there will be two 8235G7 and one 8135G7.When all 8000 join 1365, there will be a total of 4 blocks and a total of 8 nodes.If I enable BLOCK FAULT TOLERANCE, how to calculate the available space ? After enable BLOCK FAULT TOLERANCE can I remove the two 8000s and reinstall them as a backup cluster?? Or can it return fault tolerance domain to nodes?Thanks

If I update update firmwares or softwares via LCM, is LCM update out-of-band? Or in-band? I can’t find any information in TN-2122 (Life Cycle Manager).

I posted this earlier in the wrong forum. (Sorry about that. I’m a newb.) I am reposing here. I cannot seem to find the the performance stats in the v3 API that are available by default in the v2 get APIs for vms, clusters, hosts, etc.? Are the performance stats available in v3? If so does anyone know the endpoints. I’ve searched but cannot find them. I suspect v2 is going to be supported for quite a while so I can just use v2 but didn’t what to rule out v3 until I had a good reason to.

Hi Team, I scheduled to write NCA-5.15 exam through online PSI proctor exam, during verification it’s asking again and again to share my ID card for verification proof. I have multiple ID card issued by government of India but not accepting any proof, seems PSI proctor exam not working. After sometime, the exam scheduled expire and unable to give my exam. Also my voucher used there but unable to give exam. I logged ticket “636111“with Nutanix education and certification but no solution yet for my voucher. Please help and guide.

Hi, I have a query regarding the snapshot reference numbers in a replication alert I received recently.  The error message is 'Replication was skipped for protection domain xxxx-Policy of snapshot (4779634355498612345, 1559835678912345, 75812345) to remote site xxxx-DR. Replication was skipped as a newer Recovery Point was available'.  I understand the last number refers to the ID of the snapshot but what do the two longer numbers refer to?  Many thanks.
