Hi, I upgraded BMC Firmware from 03.24 to -> 03.40 via IPMI UI today since that i can check the version of BMC on IPMI UI page that its 03.40 upgraded among 3nodes which i upgraded but its not the same on PRISM even its accomplished. i can only see that BMC Firmware 03.40 isnt upgraded on PRISM among 3nodes i use AOS 4.7.3.2 with AHV Nutanix 20160601.44 [img]https://d1qy7qyune0vt1.cloudfront.net/nutanix-us/attachment/2107iA6B3D2779D7382C9.png[/img] additionally, i have this fail message via conducting ncc health check funtion All 4nodes have intel CPU in them. We are using Apache Cloudstack 4.8.0 with Vmware 5.5 to to provide IAAS services . We want to use Nutanix as underlying infrastructure Is this implementation supported ? Is there any recommendations, best practices for deployment or a reference architecture? We also plan to have HA for a class of our vm whereas others should not be replicated. What kind of mapping between Cloudstack and Vmware organisation units, and Nutnaix Protections domains strategies should we have to achieve this goal. If none of the above is supported is Apache Cloudstack in Nutanix roadmap on Vmware or AHV ? Thank you in advance

Hi last week we installed the first Nutanix cluster in Venezuela with 3 nodes, it was founded and as a best practice, the vSwitch br0 was "splited"into two vswitches by creating the br1 then the 10 GBE interfaces (eth2 and eth3) were assigned to the br0 and the 1 GBE interfaces (eth0 and eth1) were assigned to the br1, the administrator of the cluster decided to switch that assignment, i.e. to assign the 1 GBE interfaces to the br0 and the 10 GBE interfaces to the br1 by executing on the CVM's command line the command. [b][i]allssh manage_ovs --bridge_name br0 --bond_name bond0 --interface 1g update_uplinks[/i][/b] after the third node response to the command, the connection to the ssh sesion to the CVM was lost and now can't access the CVMs to revert the command neither ssh connection nor PRISM. In the nodes the 1 GBE interfaces leds are orange and red, only have access to the console by connecting a monitor and a keyboard to the physical nodes, my question is, does exist a way t

Right now we about to push ESXi 5.5 u3b so we can move on up to AOS 4.7.3.2. Since Nutanix doesn't support pushing out patches, we planned to do that with VUM which is fine. At least saving time from having to bring down each node manually for upgrading to u3b. On top of patching, we're also installing NFS VAAI VIB. In our lab, we do it via command line, but has anyone found a zip, or package that VUM can support pushing out that way we can just package our baseline with updates and the VIB file? We can't find anywhere that has a zip file or anything we can leverage thus far. Since we have two data centers a good number of nodes in the cluster at each, We'd love to save time if at all possible, so any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Where do you put the ESXi ISO files so they show up in Foundation hypervisor list? Also, is this considered a bare metal install? Also, if using Foundation, where is a good guide for installing using ESXi as the Hypervisor (Field guide not much help). Thanks

Hi guys, Need some advice We are running a realy old version of ESXi 5,5 on our Nutanix cluster Nutanix support recommended the 1 click hypervsior upgrade and to get the json file The build number we want to go to is 4345813.. there is a json file for it on the website However on the Vmware website the latest offline bundle they have is build 3248547 which is from Decemeber last year Anyone know how I can get the offline bundle for 4345813? Nutanix support didn't know how to do it

Hi, I am new to Nutanix so would appreciate a bit of advice on importing a cluster into System Center Virtual Machine Manager. I have an existing Nutanix Hyper-V cluster which I want to manage via SCVMM. Has anyone got any advice in importing this into SCVMM and anything I should be aware of? Also, has anyone converted Standard switches to logical switches once the cluster has been imported or is that not a good idea? Thanks!

Dear Community, I have an issue. I'm installing a Windows 2008 standard (not R2 nor SP1) on a AHV cluster and then I need the virtIO drivers. It works fine for the iSCSI passthrough driver and the baloon. But the Networking adapter is failed. It says drivers are not signed and cannot be verified, I bypass the warning and then it says there is an error, driver corrupt blablabla. I have tried the latest Nutanix virtIO without any luck - whatever OS version, they all failed. any magic idea ? Thanks ;)

I have this same error on 3 nodes - I have checked networking / Time and connectivity and it all seems ok. Running ncc health checks on different services gives me a range of things to check. Not sure where to start with this. The Hosts are Hyper-V.

We recently had multiple Nutanix Blocks installed and I have started configuring them for Active Directory Authentication; however, logging on using AD Accounts is super slow and takes several minutes to logon. I have configured the Authentication to IP Addresses, FQDN's and DOMAIN but all are still unacceptably slow. ldap://192.168.1.1:389 ldap://server.domain.org:389 ldap://domain.org:389 For the Prism Role mapping, I have configured AD Groups and Single Users and the logon is still super slow. There was a post about change recursive authentication to be off; however, there was no command string associated with NCLI. Anyone experiencing this issue? Would like to know the best practice for configuration AD Authentication. Thanks for any assistance... David
