皆さんお疲れ様です。NutanixCEインストール際にエラーが発生しましたので、ご相談させていただきたいです。現在、IDRACのコンソールでNutanixCE2.1のisoファイルをマウントし、インストール作業を行っております。最初はインストールしたのですが、SSH接続でCVMのログイン時にパスワードを間違え、ロックがかかってしまったため、再インストールを行いました。問題は再インストール作業で発生しました。インストール後にAHVではなく、phoenixのCUIになる原因が発生しました。そして、リブートをすると下記の画像のように表示されます。。解決策をご存じの方いらっしゃいますでしょうか。＃ハードディスクやメモリの性能は推奨条件を満たしています。 ＜最初に上手くいった際の画像＞ 再インストール直後の画像リブートした際の画像 

Deploying NDB solely on a VMware infrastructure without an accompanying Nutanix cluster is not supported?

 After deploying 6 Lenovo ThinkAgile HX650 V3 CE nodes in a single cluster, Nutanix Prism Element shows that it has no active licenses. In the Nutanix portal website with the end user credentials, it can be seen that it has the starter and pro licenses. When uploading the cluster summary file generated by Nutanix Prism Element, it shows the error "No compatible products found for the uploaded cluster summary file". The cluster does not have access to DNS or an NTP server. I have also tried entering the cluster information as Dark Site but it continues to show the same error. I would appreciate it if you could tell me how I can overcome the error and upload the license. Thank you.

This has been an effort in patience. I have 4 HPE Gen10 DL360s, all with the exact same hardware config, same firmware, same everything yet every one of them has presented me with a different challenge when installing CE. This particular server will not get past INFO Removing the marker file.   My research has not turned up anything yet. I’m installing from phoenix.x86_64-fnd_5.6.1_patch-aos_6.8.1_ga.iso Thanks

こんにちは。現在 AOS 6.5.6.5 を使用している環境をAOS 6.10にアップグレードしたいと思い、LCMでインベントリを実行しました。インベントリ実施後にアップグレード可能なバージョンを確認したところ、AOS 6.5.6.6しか表示されずAOS 6.10が表示されませんでした。 Upgrade Pathを確認したところ、AOS 6.10へのアップグレードはサポートされているのですが「One click download enabled」のアイコンは表示されていませんでした。Download Imageのリンクは表示されています。One click download enabledでアップグレードできそうな中間バージョンも存在しないようでした。 LCMで対応できない時のアップグレードの方法を教えて頂けませんでしょうか。 

Hi,I have 2 x 3 node clusters managed by a single Prism Central,  I have recently tried to upgrade the PC and it does not like the fact it is unnamed it has only a virtual IP - also with no entry in DNS.  So the terminology is confusing me a bit, to add a name to PC it requires the cluster name - is this a PC Cluster name, different to the 3 node cluster names?  or something else?  If I add an FQDN now will it break my existing clusters? ThanksEric

I need your help.I downloaded the cfs file to open the case.I received the cfs file during the licensing manual registration process and have not proceeded further since then.The license was already registered.There was only a file download to open the case.The problem isyou have a pending licensing action. finish the process by uploading a license summary file.This is because the alarm keeps popping up and the license registration process cannot be canceled.Please let me know how to end this alarm.The existing license is already registered.It was cfs file download to open case.You do not need to re-register your license.Please let me know how to get rid of this alarm and end the registration process.

Hi Anyone have a playbook that I can use accomplish the subject feat? I have to power cycle 470 VMs in groups. i.e Group1 has 45 VMs, Group2 has 45 vms and so on.

AHVホストのセットアップで疑問があるので、質問させてください。 最近出荷のAHVホストのBIOS設定を確認したところ、TPM（Trusted Platform Module）が有効、セキュアブートは無効になっていました。AHVバージョンはAHV-20230302.102001、AOS 6.10 (LTS)の利用を想定しています。ドキュメントを探してもよくわからなかったのは、次の2点です。 1.将来発生するかもしれない、マザーボードの交換などに備えてユーザー側で実施しておく必要のある作業はありますでしょうか？ESXiとの比較になってしまうのですが、、「リカバリー キーの取得」のような事前作業は必要でしょうか？ 2.TPM有効な状態でAHVホストをインストールし、あとからTPMを無効化した場合にホストが起動しなくなったりするのでしょうか？ 

Foundation VM 5.7を使用して Oracle Virtualbox でクラスタのデプロイを試していますが、bzip2 not found のメッセージがでて Guest Additions Instllation に失敗します。    bzip2 not found. Please Install: bzip2 tar; and try again yum で bzip2 のインストールを試みているもののうまくいきません。何か情報はありますでしょうか。  

Currently, I have a Nutanix Acropolis PRO (P1.0) license where the ‘Multiple Site DR’ feature is limited. By upgrading the license to P2.0, if I understand correctly, this feature should be unlocked, enabling the possibility of having Multiple Site DR as many-to-many. Hi there,  I am trying to install the CE version for testing in my home lab with a MSI cubi 5, I am using an NVMe drive and a SATA SSD for DATA and CVM respectively, and I thought I could use a USB stick for the AHV, however, I get a timeout whenever I try to run the installation even though I increased the timeout in the installer_vm.py, any suggestions?  Thanks!

Right after I accpet the EULA the screen is terminating with this error “QEMU limits the disk serial length to 36, Serial is found duplicate after truncation XY”. Now I can’t find anything on the web related to this problem, so I’m going to ask it. What does this error mean and how could solve it? I’m using the CE version 2.1 

Unable to expand cluster from prism UI, host and CVM IPs are reachable on the target node. Pls suggest ways to expand the cluster.

AHV/CVMのインストールディスクについてNutanix CE（AHV/CVM）をインストールする際に、[H][C][D]のディスクを選択すると思います。これらの用途について、以下の理解でいるのですが正しいでしょうか？・[H]・・・AHVのインストールディスク・[C]・・・CVMのインストールディスク・[D]・・・AHV上で仮想マシンやvolumeとして利用できるディスク（＝ストレージプール）2. SSD層/HDD層はどこから割り当てられる？上記で相違ない場合、SSD層(ホットデータ層)/HDD層(コールドデータ層)は、各ノードの[D]から自動で判別され割り当てられるようになるのでしょうか？3. [C]の用途について[C]はCVMのインストールディスクとなる認識ですが、それにしては[C]の容量要件が多い気がしています。CVM単体でそこまで容量を利用するものなのでしょうか？以上です。無知で申し訳ないのですがご教示いただけますと幸いです。

I have several Citrix clusters with NX-8170-G8 and NX-8170-G9 nodes.  I want to perform updates but the VMs will not migrate. VMs need to be power cycled in order to get the VMs revert to the lower CPU in the cluster.I was looking for script that i can run in the intelligent ops playbook that will Identify the VMs that needs to be power cycled, and power cycle them.  Can assist with script to get the state of the VMs that needs to be power cycled?  Power cycle the VMs which don't have APC configured.  Power cycle the VMS which don't have APC configured to ensure CPU compatibility. Power cycle all the VMS in the cluster to ensure CPU compatibility. How do I find VMs that do not have APC configured? We have just had a new cluster installed and its running AHV, I have used Nutanix for about 6 years but always with ESX so its all a bit new to me!I’m sure I’ll have a few questions but currnetly I have this annoying issue! I have uploaded a few images to PC, qcow2 files, but when I deploy a VM using the images it always creates the VMs in the selfservicecontainer storage container, which is a tad annoying as I then have to move it manually using  acli vm.update_container vm-name container=container name wait=false In PC the storage container drop down box for the VM is grayed out so I can’t change it in the PC web GUI.  the cli works but I would like to create the VM in what ever storage container I want without having to move it after the event!  Is this possible?

Hey,I deploy my 2024.2 PC over AOS 6.10.It XL cluster with scale.I register PE to PC and now I want to change the default password of PC (username->Change Password). But get the errorError updating admin password in Athena. What can I do to fix that? Thanks

Greetings everyone,I have been successful at creating a rest api call to ADD a category to the VM.  The issue is we only want 1 category per VM, so if the VM already has a category assigned we want it to REPLACE the value and not ADD it.  With my current code (ie: use GET command of VM, remove Status, replace categories and categories_mapping then use PUT command) the JSON object looks good before uploading but afterwards I see the new category and the old one.  I tried using a PATCH command but AHV doesn’t like that (and it isn’t in the documentation either).   New Category = NEW_CATVM Original State:    "categories": {      "OLD_CAT": "OLD_CAT",    } VM Post My Update State:    "categories": {      "OLD_CAT": "OLD_CAT",      "NEW_CAT": "NEW_CAT"    } VM Desired State:    "categories": {      "NEW_CAT": "NEW_CAT"    }Any help would be greatly appreciated.
