The last couple days I have received an error email indicating that snapshot replication to AWS was skipped because a newer snapshot is available. Hello everyone, After some research i saw that there is no opportunities to collect Total Snapshot Usage (Exclusive Usage) per Protection Domain through the API (i’m on 5.15.3 AOS).As i have lot of VMs per PD, how can i collect this info through Nutanix Cmdlets and obtain this one per PD ?  Thanks. 

I migrated 2 linux servers from Xen Citrix successfully. In the image configuration, can I delete the disk images or if I do that the VM will no longer function.

Hi I have a question in the Nutanix enviroment.I need to change control for the ssh to CVM so that just some IPs can access to avoid some intrusion access.I checked the <Nutanix security Guide> and there are some descriptopm in TCP Wrapper Integration, But after I changed the file of /etc/hosts.allow to include just the allowed IPs and CVM management subnet. But It will be changed to default after the cluster security config schedule(by default daily.) Is it possible to change the sshd allow list to achieved this goal? there are security requreiments for the enviroment. thanks.

Hello, We have the VM with the file serber on installing on one of the node of our Nutanix. For now the size of the disk is 3.5 TB, but we wanted to extend this size up to 4.5TB. Is somebody knows if VM will work correctly with the such big size of the disk?

What is better, 4x960GB SSDs per node or 2x1.9TB SSDs?We currently have 2x960GB SSDs and need to double the capacity. Cost aside, any benefits of one configuration over another?

Hi community, I have some Qlogic 10G/25G NIC cards in my cluster which as I understand are not “supported” however seem to be detected correctly to some extent. Manage_ovs show-interfaces displays the output below which leads me to belive that the driver is loaded. However, currently those ports are connected to a 10G switch and so the speed and the operational status are not correctly working. I’m tuning RBAC to provide Self-Service users with just enough permissions for CRUD operations on VMs and Recovery points using the API and custom roles.When trying to create a VM, I see the following message with the “VM Template” radio button greyed out: There are currently no VM templates available in the projects that you are a part of. So, where is the association of VM Templates to a project? I created a couple of VM templates by creating the required images and adding them to the catalog. Is there some special permission required for this (because playing with RBAC has made this greyed out)? 

Good morning All   I have a bit of an NGT issue, the Prism Central alerts me to say some VMs need a NGT upgrade, when I go to upgrade them I see the message “NGT can only be upgraded on 0/1 VMs which have the available upgrade of NGT”   Review and confirm buttons are greyed out so I cannot continue - what does the message mean and what do I do to get it to work?   Many thanks   Eric

Hello, I tried to change the Prism admin password today, but the admin account keep locked automatically. So every time I have to reset the admin account from a CVM, but it gets locked after 5 minutes.  

I was wondering what best practice is for defragmenting guest OS on a Nutanix node.  I am running ESXi on the nodes.  I have looked all over but I cannot find anything that tells me definitively the best practice.

I want to create to vm’s using REST API by selecting one of Catalog Items.I can create vm via catalog items via Prism Central Dashboard.When i try to create vm via REST API, i can not find any reference to give Catalogs Items vm  template there.How to give vm templates in vm creation using REST API?
