Hello I am looking for guidance regarding setting up a 3-node and 2 node AHV cluster on 1G switches . Our workloads are low. The official response is to use a 10G switch fabric. If I opt for 2 node, can I connect the servers back to back for distributed storage ? Can data network go over 1G ? I plan to procure 2 servers with 2x 10G for distributed storage , 2x 1G NICs for data Thanks,Ajay
We have a 14 Nodes AHV cluster having HA enabled (reserved 700GB RAM).Suppose, a node get failed and all the VMs running on that node is restarted on other nodes in cluster. Now, what will happens to HA Setting, will HA got disabled automatically?
RDP to guest vm’s running Windows Server 2022 are freezing a few seconds after connecting. Running latest VirtIO drivers 1.1.7. After rebooting the guest, RDP seems to work ok for an hour or so before freezing again. Guest memory utilization 48%, CPU 3-5% so no issue there.

I have a customer currently deploying Nutanix Files and they are looking to use File Analytics in place of their current audit tool, Lepide. They are happy with the file-level audit trails in FA, but have asked if the same audit trails are available for Shares - e.g. Is there a log anywhere of who created a specific Share, who last modified it, or who deleted it? I can’t find an answer to this in the documentation, and if I create a share in the Files Demo all I get is an “Event” in the Files console which doesn’t tell me who did it.

Hello All, I have added a managed network in our cluster. We have since purchased another cluster and in the process of configuring VXLan and the ability to live migrate VM’s between clusters. From what I have been seeing we cannot have a managed network across clusters is this correct? If not does anyone know how to configure a managed network to work between clusters. Thanks,Scott

Hi,we added additional networkcards into the servers, but when doing a ifconfig -a | less the additional cards/ports are not being displayed. Also the CVM starts and goes into a continous boot loop. the following is being displayed UNLOAD: attempting modprobe remove virtio-pciNow our question is why are the additional ports not being displayed? Are drivers needed in order for the CVM to boot correctly with the new card installed? Thanks
Hi,I`ve replaced the SATADOM of one of the four hosts in my NX-1050. After starting from the pnoenix.iso, the repair host disk has been stuck like this for 24 hours. The host_bootdisk_repair_status says it`s at “sm_trigger_imaging” state. The first thing I would like to do is kill the current repair job since it`s most certainly hanging. How can I do that and what further steps should I take to try and get the host back online? Thank you.
