Prism Central or Prism Element: Where Should You Apply Your Licenses?

If you're applying licenses from our Portfolio 2.0—including NCI, NCM, and NUS—you'll need to do so directly from Prism Central (PC). PC is now the central hub for managing your licenses.

In the past, our legacy portfolio allowed licensing through Prism Element (PE). However, we now recommend using Prism Central for your licenses. If you’ve already deployed Prism Central and registered your PE to it, the licensing should be done from Prism Central

Remember too, as we continue to phase out the P1.0 legacy licenses, you can still have your Prism Element clusters in your environment registered and managed by the same Prism Central managing your new clusters with the latest licenses.
