In my lab cluster, I first activated Microservices. Then, I created a VPC followed by setting up an Overlay subnet. Finally, I attached my VMs for internal communication. However,: the VMs aren't acquiring IP addresses on the subnet configured within the Overlay subnet. Just wondering if anyone knows if there are any documented instances of someone being able to successfully re-inject the VirtIO drivers into a UEFI-based Windows VM? At first, we thought it was just a VMware problem, but then we had the same issue happen on a native-AHV VM. The VM operates normally for weeks, with regular reboots, but randomly after a reboot, it bluescreens with an "Inaccessible Boot Device" error.We haven't found a single "solution" that has actually fixed the problem. We can get the VM to boot into recovery mode, but none of the recovery options work. If we manually load up VirtIO driver from the command prompt (drvload vioscsi.inf) we can regain access to our drives, but adding the driver to the boot image via DISM does not help (dism /image:c:\ /add-driver /driver:vioscsi.inf). The server reboots to the same blue screen.SFC doesn't help, neither do the standard bootrec options (i.e. bootrec /fixmbr, bootrec /fixboot, bootrec /rebuildbcd), nor does "bootsec /nt

My organization is going to be embarking on an NDB implementation this year and due to our existing clustering technology, our SQL Server infrastructure relies heavily on non-default instance names for our machines (i.e. hostname\instancename). If we’re able to preserve this on databases that bring across to NDB, it will save us a great deal of time/effort in reconfiguring existing applications. Is this something that we’re likely to be able to achieve in NDB? Put differently, I’m hoping that we’ll be able to preserve existing host and instance names.
I initially developed a Jenkins pipeline to launch Calm blueprints using the raw API, which works, but i hadn’t yet figured out how to pass runtime params to it.It was then that i found the Jenkins plugin, which simplifies the process significantly. It is easy to pass values to the app variables that are exposed in the blueprint. What i don’t see is the ability to pass runtime-editable fields. For example, i can set an App Variable for a user-supplied value, via the plugin. But I don’t see a way to set, for example, the `vCPUs` field that I have marked as a runtime field.It is available to set when launching the Blueprint via the Prism UI, but is it possible to set these fields using the Jenkins Plugin?PS: i am also unclear how to set params via the raw API, but i’ll ask that in a separate topic.
My organization is going to be embarking on a NDB implementation in the coming months and I’m while I’m familiar with the terms “greenfield” and “brownfield” (databases provisioned in NDB vs registered in NDB), I’m trying to get my head around what the key differences between these two approaches are. Do I lose out on anything major in a brownfield database?
When setting up my blueprints, i want to lock down most of the configuration to prevent user error. I basically only want a user to be able to adjust the cores, RAM, and size of the data disk. So, i’m clicking the running-person icons to set them to black, meaning not-user-changeable. However, when i Save the change, it goes back to blue. I can’t get the user modifiable/not-modifiable config to stick. Am i missing something here? Thanks!

Nice day nutanix community, A customer needs to upgrade his hypervisor but, for compliance reasons they cannot create a web server and request the internet access could take too much time. Coud it be possible upload a package directly to a cvm and then upgrade the cluster?
We hit the below scenario today. We have a single IP pool IPAM network pool included the CVM/Host IPs When deployed a K8 cluster using this IPAM network, system generated IP list contains 2 IPs of CVM Cluster creation task proceeded without any issue After the K8 cluster creation task , nutanix cluster went down , due to the duplicate IP issueDo we have any check introduced in code for duplicate ip check in the creation task?
