I am trying to extend the Prism element manager to show the server hardware inventory and hardware statistics information. Not sure if the Prism element manager allows to develop custom GUI extension to show the hardware details. Hello Community.New to the Nutanix world here. Busy setting up a multi-cloud 4 node environment for our clients. We were experiencing a number of issues and attempted upgrade to PC 2024.2; from PC 2024.1.0.2. This has introduced a number of further issues, and I am suspecting underlying compatibility issues in the environment with the new release.Any guidelines or assistance from the community as to getting the platform stable and running optimally again. I am hearing and seeing that a fairly strict upgrade process should be followed to avoid such problems, any input here would also be greatly appreciated.Look forward to hearing from you guys, and thanks.Mark

I am working to create a 4 node cluster. I have 4 Dell Optiplex 7000s, each with 64gb ram, core i7 processors (12 cores) , I have a 32gb Samsung USB for the boot drive and 2 - WD Black SN770 2TB NVME drives for storage. the install completes successfully. but upon reboot, i get a couple of errors right after i get the login prompt and the CMV will enter a paused state.
Greetings everyone,I have been successful at creating a rest api call to ADD a category to the VM. The issue is we only want 1 category per VM, so if the VM already has a category assigned we want it to REPLACE the value and not ADD it. With my current code (ie: use GET command of VM, remove Status, replace categories and categories_mapping then use PUT command) the JSON object looks good before uploading but afterwards I see the new category and the old one. I tried using a PATCH command but AHV doesn’t like that (and it isn’t in the documentation either). If the administrator didn’t assign a specific name during the Prism Central setup, it may appear as "Unnamed” by default.Here’s an example of how it might look:The image displays a table with a "Cluster Name" column, highlighting the entry labeled "Unnamed."This isn’t an error, just the default label that appears when no name is provided during configuration.If you’d like to change the name of your Prism Central, refer to this article: Manually Changing Prism Central Cluster Name using nCLI (nutanix.com) or open a technical support case. Hey.I have an old Nutanix appliance (NX-1065-5G)I’ve been told in this post I want to install on my appliance AOS 6.10 (with competible AHV),Then I want to deploy Prism Central, In order to use Microsegmentation and self-service (Calm) It is really possible? my hardware support that? according to the Compatibility and Interoperability Matrix, deploy AOS 6.10 not supported But I successes to deploy it (by install CE then upgrade with Foundation tool) Thanks Eviatar
