Hi,I just want to ask if its possible to use the 1 GbE interface while using the 10 GbE for back up network in case the 10 GbE switches fails, if its possible how to set it up?

Hello Nutanix community, i have a question about compatibility between Cisco ESA C100V and Nutanix AHV?

CVM On LACP networks, Physical switches use MLAG technology，CVM bandwidth performance cannot be improved, and the maximum can only be 10Gb.

Wondering if it is possible to transfer a Nutanix cert to an alternate account? Since we cannot register Nutanix accounts with personal email addresses (Gmail, Hotmail etc) my Nutanix cert is linked to my Nutanix account with my current employer who I am finishing my employment with today. Since I’ll no longer have access to that email after today, how can I continue to access my Nuatnix account / my Nutanix certification?I do happen to have another Nuatnix account ready to use, but cannot see a solution. I am based outside of the US without the ability to call US phone numbers. I called the Nutanix support number available in my country but it went through to “technical support” who informed me they can only provide technical support and cannot transfer me to Customer Support - instead giving me a US phone number to call which I cannot use.. Given the time sensitivity I doubt I’ll get a solution in time but figured it’s worth asking the question here just in case.

Hello. I have a question about upgrading AOS and AHV.I understand that upgrading AOS and AHV requires restarting nodes one by one, so I need to calculate memory, CPU, storage, etc. and free up enough space. There are customers who are currently using more than 90% of cluster memory.cpu, there's plenty of storage. We recommended turning off underutilized VMs to free up memory capacity, but they said it was impossible. It also says that disabling virtual machine high availability reduces memory utilization to less than 60%.However, it is recommended that you disable virtual machine high availability because it is a feature for recovery in the event of a host failure. If you turn off this feature during an upgrade and an unexpected failure occurs during the process, it can be a problem, right? In conclusion, I would appreciate it if you could tell me the correlation between upgrade and virtual machine high availability.

I have a 8 nodes nutanix with vSphere 7 deployed. I’ve created 2 new storage container with compression enabled and map to the nodes. I test to copy the file that i uploaded to the default container to the new storage container presented as NFS datastore...it was very slow. 5GB took 2hrs. Then i tried storage vmotion of a VM reside on the new datastore to another new datastore. A 10GB VM took 20 minutes. If storage vmotion from the default container to new datastore, it fails.

How to Decrease AHV, AOS upgrade times. As per my experience, each component is taking more than 45 minutes to upgrade its own.

I want to migrate Prism Central VM AHV cluster to ESXi on Nutanix cluster, please suggest the easiest way to migrate with no impact.

HiIs there a way to setup an email alert when a user logs into Prism (Central and element) and an extension to this is there a way to send an email when a patch update is started and ends? ThanksEric

buenas tardes, alguien sabe si es posbile saber el tiempo de apagado y/o de encendido de una VM dentro de Nutanix?

Hi everyone;I want to monitor all the activities in Nutanix env, by sending the logs to qradar siem; the objectif is to identify malicious activities (by attackers) in our env.My question are :1- where can I find Nutanix logs ?2- what types of logs provided by Nutanix ?3- how to send these logs to The SIEM solution ?Thank you in advance.

"We are currently collecting usage data. Cluster usage data will be displayed here in 24 hours"" this message is showing more than two week in a Capacity section (cpu runway and storage runway) of all Esxi cluster in Prism Central.1) is there any way to verify the data collection progress in command line ?2) is there any way to stop and start this data collection ? if yes, does it affect the VMs and clusters ?PC version : 2022.4.0.1Esxi version : 7.0.1 and 7.0.2vcenter version : 7.0.3no of esxi cluster in PC : 23 clustersPC and VC are registered

We have a scenario where we want to show session based stats for any particular VM. Using below API we can get the CPU stats for the whole VM.https://{{cluster_ip}}:{{port}}/PrismGateway/services/rest/v1/vms/{{uuid}}/stats?metrics=hypervisor_cpu_usage_ppm&intervalInSecs=60&startTimeInUsecs=1607965687547284&endTimeInUsecs=1607967487547284Is there any way or any API that can can give stats bases on machine sessions?

I try to deploy Nutanix in 3 nodes (Fujitsu) using Foundation VM , Every node have 4 NIC , 2 NIC to every switch , (Nexus 3548-x), IPMI connected to other CISCO switch We will install ESXi as hypervisor , The deployment fail , when i follow up in node console , it fail after creation bond and try to connect to foundation VM My question are :it should be connection between AOS to foundation VM IP ?what is best practices for configuration in two nexus switches and cisco switch , for example , all 10g in nexus switch are trunk ports , native vlan is cvm vlan … what i need more to do ?

Can we receive Rsyslog files per CVM based? Or it has to be via PC only? Can I do them individually?

I’m looking to upgrade the hypervisor on my cluster of NX-8035-G6 hardware however the download site only lists ESXi version 7.0.0-ga (build 15843807) as the latest for this hardware line - which was released from VMware almost 2 years ago.Can I use this older .json file with newer versions of ESXi? For example version 7 Update 3?Or, since there appears to be support for these newer versions of ESXI for other vendors (like the Dell hardware line),  can I use the .json files for the Dell hardware along with the new ESXi binary’s on my cluster of NX-8035-G6 nodes?

Running IR Collaborate Software on a Nutanix Windows Server and I need to know how to “Whitelist” the IR Application; Configuration of the application involves running Scripts on a Cisco Cluster for monitoring and a Desktop Client; I can’t execute the scripts or login to the desktop client without “Whitelisting” it -

Hi everyone, I am currently taking NCA 5.20 course and while I was doing the quizzes, I ran into this question which I could not figure out why the answer is 5tib. Anyone could help and explain to me. Thank you very much!Your current storage pool is 10TiB. With 5 storage containers configured and a Replication Factor of 2, what is the size of each storage container?2TiB 1TiB 10TiB 5TiB Answer

Hey Guys,Can anyone give the EOL information for version 6.5?In Support portal the EOL information is mentioned as “End of Maintenance and End of Support Life dates for 6.5.Z are based on the Release Date of the next LTS Release that is an Upgrade; these dates will be published at that time.”Is it recommended to upgrade to this version since EOL information is not mentioned?
