Hello. I have a question about upgrading AOS and AHV.I understand that upgrading AOS and AHV requires restarting nodes one by one, so I need to calculate memory, CPU, storage, etc. and free up enough space.There are customers who are currently using more than 90% of cluster memory.cpu, there's plenty of storage.We recommended turning off underutilized VMs to free up memory capacity, but they said it was impossible.It also says that disabling virtual machine high availability reduces memory utilization to less than 60%.However, it is recommended that you disable virtual machine high availability because it is a feature for recovery in the event of a host failure.If you turn off this feature during an upgrade and an unexpected failure occurs during the process, it can be a problem, right?In conclusion, I would appreciate it if you could tell me the correlation between upgrade and virtual machine high availability.  

I have a 8 nodes nutanix with vSphere 7 deployed. I’ve created 2 new storage container with compression enabled and map to the nodes. I test to copy the file that i uploaded to the default container to the new storage container presented as NFS datastore...it was very slow. 5GB took 2hrs. Then i tried storage vmotion of a VM reside on the new datastore to another new datastore. A 10GB VM took 20 minutes. If storage vmotion from the default container to new datastore, it fails. 

How to Decrease AHV, AOS upgrade times. As per my experience, each component is taking more than 45 minutes to upgrade its own.

I want to migrate Prism Central VM AHV cluster to ESXi on Nutanix cluster, please suggest the easiest way to migrate with no impact.

HiIs there a way to setup an email alert when a user logs into Prism (Central and element) and an extension to this is there a way to send an email when a patch update is started and ends? ThanksEric

We have a scenario where we want to show session based stats for any particular VM. I try to deploy Nutanix in 3 nodes (Fujitsu) using Foundation VM , Every node have 4 NIC , 2 NIC to every switch , (Nexus 3548-x), IPMI connected to other CISCO switch We will install ESXi as hypervisor , The deployment fail , when i follow up in node console , it fail after creation bond and try to connect to foundation VM My question are :it should be connection between AOS to foundation VM IP ?what is best practices for configuration in two nexus switches and cisco switch , for example , all 10g in nexus switch are trunk ports , native vlan is cvm vlan … what i need more to do ? 

Can we receive Rsyslog files per CVM based? Or it has to be via PC only?Can I do them individually?

I’m looking to upgrade the hypervisor on my cluster of NX-8035-G6 hardware however the download site only lists ESXi version 7.0.0-ga (build 15843807) as the latest for this hardware line - which was released from VMware almost 2 years ago.Can I use this older .json file with newer versions of ESXi? For example version 7 Update 3?Or, since there appears to be support for these newer versions of ESXI for other vendors (like the Dell hardware line),  can I use the .json files for the Dell hardware along with the new ESXi binary’s on my cluster of NX-8035-G6 nodes?

Running IR Collaborate Software on a Nutanix Windows Server and I need to know how to “Whitelist” the IR Application; Configuration of the application involves running Scripts on a Cisco Cluster for monitoring and a Desktop Client; I can’t execute the scripts or login to the desktop client without “Whitelisting” it -

Hey Guys,Can anyone give the EOL information for version 6.5?In Support portal the EOL information is mentioned as “End of Maintenance and End of Support Life dates for 6.5.Z are based on the Release Date of the next LTS Release that is an Upgrade; these dates will be published at that time.”Is it recommended to upgrade to this version since EOL information is not mentioned?

Is it possible to add three NX-8135-G8 nodes to a cluster created with three SX-1065-G5 nodes? In the document about “Product Mixing Restrictions”, there is no mention of NX and SX hardware model mixing information. I have Nutanix NX-1065 and It’s the end of support life. but I need to use it for POC and Dev Envalument. Have nutanix can upgrade to lasted AOS?

Hello Guys, I have a scenario where the current nutanix environment NX-1065-G7 AOS version is 5.20 LTS and AHV version is 20201105.2030 and we are adding new node NX-1065N-G8 to the cluster. As I referred in documentation that the current nutanix environment version is not compatible with G8. Is it  possible to image the new node with version 5.20 ?

If I wanted to migrate from VMware ESXi 6.7 (no vCenter) to Nutanix AHV, is it possible to mount my existing VMFS6 formatted datastore into Nutanix, or would I have to move all the data off temporarily, re-create it in Nutanix, and copy it all back again?In other words, do I need to buy another 3TB of storage somewhere to temporarily move my data to while I reconfigure the storage array? :)Sorry if this questions seems simple!

Our PC (we only have the one pc.2022.6) is currently hosted on an ESXi cluster, we also have 2 Nutanix clusters running ESXi as the hypervisor.  I’m looking at moving PC to one of the 2 Nutanix clusters, as the host that PC is currently sitting on will be retired soon.  What's the best way to go about this?
