Hello all,I need some help in finding my Nutanix Certificate because my employer needs it. They don’t use badges or transcripts from Credly. Where do I download the certificate?

Learning Plans :Nutanix End User Computing Administration ID: E-19PXDV

Nutanix will issue your certification and provide you e-mail notification within 7 days。Ten days have passed, did not receive the mail, view account authentication also did not query the corresponding information。

I’m attempting to import an RVTools into the Sizer tool. I want to exclude some of the VMs before import by editing the RVTools file.  When I edit the file and try to import, I get an error “Host cluster cell not found”There are more than 300 VMs, so I can’t import on the VM level and just disable the individual workloads there.Any ideas or methods anyone would suggest to editing the RVTools beforehand? Thanks in advance!

HI, I need help The current version of Nutanix isAOS 5.10.10.1AHV 2017830.396is.I'm having a problem with the SMTP side, so I'm asking this question.I've been working with a firewall engineer. After opening all ports, I tried to send an SMTP test mail, but I did not receive it.All AHV hosts have a gateway. The problem is that it succeeded in sending the test mail normally, but did not actually receive the mail.SMTPConnection status indicates Failed. The firewall engineer said that the ping test packet was confirmed, but the packet when the SMTP test mail was sent was not.I need some advice on which part is the problem.

I have been trying to make work the blueprint in:https://next.nutanix.com/community-blog-154/self-service-in-the-era-of-dbaas-32849But everytime i get an error about the databaseparameterid. Does anyone have a new version of this blueprint or something i could use?

I need some help for understanding Prism Central Image Management. When I read Prism Central Guide (Limitations) I don’t understand “During the copy operation, cluster A becomes unavailable.”This comment in Prism Central Guide mean that can’t use “cluster A” Prism Element ? Also that mean All acting is suspend like VM Provisioning Operation in "cluster A"?I want to know side effect and exactly what act is occurred using “cluster A” when becomes unavailable. Please help me.Thank you for your help :)

We’ve been recently exploring upgrading some code that interfaces with our Nutanix prism element from the v1 API to v3 and we are having issues retrieving the CVM from the v2 or v3 of the API.Looking at the response from the: /vms/ call on the v1 API we receive 10 total entries which include our CVM:v1 vms API resultv1 vms CVM resultYet when we make the equivalent API call on versions 2 or 3 we are only receiving 9 entries back and the result set does not contain the CVM:v2 vms API resultv3 vms API resultAfter searching through the API documentation nothing immediately stands out as an appropriate endpoint to get the CVM.  My question then is how do we retrieve the CVM when using the v3 or v2 API?

Hi, I have a problem when trying to advance on the ECA 5.15 course, since it will not recognize the module that I just completed. For example I’ve finished module 1 and want to start with the 2 but when I tried to access that one, it will not let me, because it keeps telling me that I haven’t completed module 1 when I already did (quizes and all reading material)

Hi Team,Am a beginner in learning Nutanix, please guide me in getting understanding the below!. if we have a Esxi Cluster using Prism Element, we can manager the operations?each host in the Esxi cluster will have CVM!if we connected to <a.Esxi host> from the cluster to execute a command using "aCLI", why the commands, will pass to other CVM's (CVM - inside hosts)?

I have a 20+node cluster and 2 nodes had multiple hard drives go out between them ( 1 SSD and 6 SATA). They are all showing stuck. I do not see any replication happening when using this command: curator_cli get_under_replication_info summary=true. All nodes show up good when using this command:nodetool -h 0 ring | grep Normal Would it be a good idea to kill the tasks with this command:cvm$ progress_monitor_cli --entity_id="<Entity_ID>" --entity_type=<Package_Name> --operation=<Operation -delete

Once we run out of the space while deploying new VM, why we need to Deselect Enable HA (it must be set within the limitations or Admissioin Control must restrict to deploy beyone the threshold), where the VM's going to reboot on other hosts (which will be a production impact)

Hi All, I’m sorry if asking questions on group. I have new deployment with HPE DX360 via foundation portable 5.0.1 and flat switch but somehow it run into error and error message prompted during installation via foundation which im not so sure why. Im using foundation 5.01 and upload with aos 5.20. The foundation error log stuck here after sometime;StandardError: Failed to connect to Phoenix at 192.168.100.32021-06-28 06:10:50,703Z ERROR Exception in running <ImagingStepInitIPMI(<NodeConfig(192.168.100.3) @2190>) @8fb0>Traceback (most recent call last):  File "foundation\imaging_step.py", line 161, in _run  File "foundation\decorators.py", line 77, in wrap_method  File "foundation\imaging_step_init_ipmi.py", line 273, in run  File "foundation\imaging_step_init_ipmi.py", line 184, in boot_phoenixStandardError: Failed to connect to Phoenix at 192.168.100.32021-06-28 06:10:50,706Z DEBUG Setting state of <ImagingStepInitIPMI(<NodeConfig(192.168.100.3) @2190>) @8fb0>

Interested to test Nutanix Move on my CE installation in my lab. But I didn't found how to download it without registration on portal , that require real Nutanix serial number. How may I download Nutanix move? Please provide needed link.

Hi I’m new to nutanix with ESXi. I recently deployed a 4 nodes nutanix with esxi. I’ve created containers and add the nodes to the vCenter. I have not add the vCenter to the Prism. I check at prism and there’s a warning saying the hosts are not connected to vCenter. Anyone encounter this issue before?

Hi I would Like to add 2 Different group of user from my Active Directory access Nutanix System. Can advice me the step i need to do in Nutanix System.

Just a quick question about sizing SSD capacity to HDD capacity in a node (in a new homogenous cluster). When specifying drive space in a node, what is the percentage SSD to HDD per node at a minimum. Is there a best practice guide that someone can point me towards? I’m not asking about the number of HDDs vs the number of SSDs.The question is around capacity and not number or drives. e.g. I configure a node with 4TB of SSD (2x1.92TB) and 60TB of HDD (10 x 6TB) and Nutanix Sizer says this is fine. This is roughly 6.25% SSD But what should I have as a minimum SSD capacity of of a hybrid node is 6% Okay, or should it be more like 10% or 20% (or more)?

We get some questions from customer. Our customer have several Nutanix units with several models including:NX-1365-G4 NX-1365-G5 NX-8235-G4 NX-6235-G4 NX-8135-G4The question is whether HDD can be replaced with SSD? What is the procedure and what about the data on the HDD? Thanks

This might be an obvious question but I’m very new to Nutanix. When reading the deployment guide for Nutanix Files Analytics, it doesn’t explicitly say to enable Files on the cluster. I imagine this process will be two steps, the first making sure Nutanix Files is deployed prior to deploying File Analytics?

Is Prism Pro  necessary to use Nutanix Flow or can I  use Prism ?

We ran into a problem with a Nutanix File Server using SSR. (We never enabled it)We ran out of space for our profiles, and when we started deleting old ones the Snapshot grew, basically meaning we didn't clear any space at all. Some of the profiles that got deleted (robocopy script gone wrong) are actually needed. So we are going to restore those on a need basis. But, we need to remove the old ones still that are from users that are gone from the company. Is there a way to permanently delete them off the snapshot somehow? Please ask for clarifications if none of this makes sense. My Nutanix isn't strong.

We are in the Process of expanding our 4 Node Cluster to 6 Nodes. The Installation of the Hosts was successful using the Foundation VM. However, the servers have Nvidia cards installed, so we need to install the driver as well. When the Cluster is expanded with the 2 extra nodes, my understanding of the command “install_host_package” is, that it will install the drivers on all hosts, that have Nvidia cards. Even those, that already have the driver. To do so it will migrate the VMs and put the Hosts into maintenance. This is not an option for us, since the reason we are expanding the cluster is that the current cluster already is overloaded. I am looking for a way to install the drivers without interfering with the up and running environment. For example, is there a way to install the drivers before expanding the cluster?

Dear Team,I did not received  NCA certificate and digital badge yet ,exam finished on 22/06/21

I am planning to upgrade my vcenter server appliance from 7.0 U1C to 7.0 U2b, as far as i know Nutanix only validate Esxi releases with respect to its AOS, can any one advise if i can upgrade the appliance?

The following document states that the CVM will be Redirected to another CVM after 30 seconds of inactivity.https://portal.nutanix.com/page/documents/details?targetId=Web-Console-Guide-Prism-v6_0:arc-failure-modes-c.html What response does the cluster request from Stargate?I want to know the details that the cluster requests to Stargate for 30 seconds.
