Trying to upgrade to a specific version by uploading the metadata and binary of 5.17.1.3. This will make the cluster the same as all the others managed by PC.Currently, the version is 5.15.5.1 LTS.When I attempt to upload, I get this response:Software is not compatible with the current installed AOS version This makes no sense to me in that I don’t care that it isn’t compatible. I’m replacing it with this other version. Is this saying that I can’t go from 5.15.5.1 LTS and that I need to upgrade to a 5.16 before I can upgrade to 5.17? Would 5.16 be compatible?I tried finding the answer in the KB, but couldn’t find it (yet).

The last couple days I have received an error email indicating that snapshot replication to AWS was skipped because a newer snapshot is available. Hello Community!! I'd like to discuss an ambiguous issue.There is an 3-nodes Hybrid Storage AHV cluster set to RF2. In this case, each node has 70% storage usage. Each node’s storage capacity is same.Of course, it's 70 percent overall.The data resiliency status is critical.That cluster has enough CPU and memory. The problem comes up from here.If one node goes down, will data rebuild occur?If data rebuilding occurs, the total cluster capacity will be over 95%.That would cause problems with the cluster's IO. Is there anyone who can clearly tell me how the cluster works in the event of a failure in that situation.

I migrated 2 linux servers from Xen Citrix successfully. In the image configuration, can I delete the disk images or if I do that the VM will no longer function.

Hi,Looking to automate some reports using the Rest API. So far I can successfully pull out CPU, RAM and Physical & Logical storage cluster wide and snapshot details but am unable to calculate the values as shown on the capacity runway when viewing a cluster in PC.. specifically the storage usage figure for ‘snapshots’ and ‘system.Anyone know how these are calculated?Thanks

I can ping to AHV from my pc. I can ping to CVM from AHV via address 172.x.x.x and internal address 192.x.x.x But I Can Ping To CVM From My PC.

We have 3 nodes with 2x960GB SSD and 4x4TB HDD.We need to expand storage (and storage only as it is going to be used to store cold data - we do not need additional processing power or RAM)Question 1: We simply added two 12TB HDDs to each node. Now each node has 2x960GB SSD, 4x4TB HDDs, 2x12TB HDDs. Everything is working fine, but we were told that this is not recommended. What is the problem with this configurationQuestion 2: Assuming the configuration in Q1 is not recommended and we want to end up with each node having one type of HDDs. We were told that we can upgrade the existing 4TB HDDs with 12TB drives. What the right procedure would be: a) Mark one 4TB drive for removal, remove it, insert 12TB drive in place of removed 4TB drive. Repeat 4 times for a node. Resulting configuration - 6x12TB HDDs per node b) Add two more 12TB drives first, then mark for removal and remove four 4TB drives (one by one). Resulting configuration - 4x12TB HDDs per node (preferred configuration by us)T
