Hello, We are working on provisioning and deploying Cisco Firepower Threat Defense Virtual (FTDv) on Nutanix AHV using an API-based approach. Previously, we used Nutanix API for ASAv deployment, and now we want to validate whether FTDv can be fully provisioned using Nutanix API alone, without requiring manual steps during deployment as discussed in following https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/firepower/quick_start/consolidated_ftdv_gsg/ftdv-gsg/m-ftdv-nutanix-gsg.html. What We Are Trying to Achieve: Upload Cisco FTDv Image – Since FTDv requires a QCOW2 image, we need to upload it to Nutanix Image Service first. Deploy FTDv VM – We must create a VM using the uploaded FTDv image and assign networking. Apply Day-0 Configuration (Cloud-Init) – FTDv requires a Day-0 file (for IP, DNS, authentication, and FMC registration). Power On & Validate – Ensure FTDv boots with the correct settings and is ready for FMC registration. What We Need to Confirm: Nutanix API v2 vs. v3 – Nutanix

Recurring Daily Cluster Crash – Seeking Advice on Automatic Failover and Service Restarts

Hello everyone, I am currently experiencing a recurring issue with my Nutanix cluster: every day at exactly 9:35 PM, the cluster crashes and then restarts a short time afterward. Once it comes back online, the system automatically initiates “Repairing metadata for node…” tasks on all three nodes. While checking the logs, I noticed the following events: Power on VM after failover recovery Multiple service restarts of acropolis,anduril,aplos,aplosengine,catalog,clusterconfig,delphi,ergon,flow,lazan,minervacvm,uhuraacropolis, anduril, aplos, aplos_engine, catalog, cluster_config, delphi, ergon, flow, lazan, minerva_cvm, uhuraacropolis,anduril,aplos,aplose​ngine,catalog,clusterc​onfig,delphi,ergon,flow,lazan,minervac​vm,uhura across all CVMs. The most recent crashes for these services occurred on January 8, 2025, between 9:31 PM and 9:34 PM. Has anyone encountered a similar behavior or have any suggestions on how to resolve this recurring crash? Any help or insights are greatly appreciated

How can i create a two node cluster on Nutanix CE 2.1

Hello, I've already created a cluster using the command cluster -s x.x.x.x create and I'd like to add a second node to this cluster. I've also seen that some people have an “expand cluster” tab in the hardware section of prism element, but I don't have it. If anyone has encountered or knows this problem, I'm interested in the solution I'm available if you have any further questions or need supplements, thank you in advance for your help.

The license was already registered. There was only a file download to open the case. The problem is you have a pending licensing action. finish the process by uploading a license summary file. This is because the alarm keeps popping up and the license registration process cannot be canceled.
