Hello,I´m new in this forum. In fact I´m new in the Nutanix world. We currently have a traditional VMWARE cluster with traditional FC SAN Storage and Catalyst 3850 switches (7 servers).We are planning to replace it with a brand new solution based on NUTANIX (with 6 nodes or so) but using VMWARE as hypervisor. The question that arise are:We need to install 2 new “top of the rack” switches for NUTANIX connections. If using Cisco (and taking into account our proposed cluster size) which one could we use ? I mean, Catalyst 9300 are ok ? Or they have to be the more expensive Nexus ?  To reduce initial costs we are planning to keep the Cat 3850 to act as coreswitch and also because we need to conect other devices, but we need to ones for the new nodes. Our current VMWARE Servers have 2 x 10G connection for DATA/VEEAM BK and 2 x 1G for vSphere MGMT/vMotion. In order to cope with data traffic but also with “disk sinc” traffic, should we provide the new nodes with  4 x 10G (2 for DATA/veeam BK

Hi,Having an issue migrating a Windows Server 2019 OS into Nutanix. We are using version 4.1.0 of Move and we have successfully migrated one VM already. However this 2nd VM fails with a “Query Changed Page Ranges” failed message. It appears to be able to create a snapshot of the disk but then fails after a while. Any ideas?

hello all i am in this tight situation. as i have AOS PRO license i only can do is Async replication but i really need to make the RPO 0 so, i am thinking to leverage application level replication. for example in exchange application I want to leverage DAG replication method to be able to sync both main and DR site with RPO=0so my question if i do this configuration and take out my exchange server from any protection domain, do you think Nutanix would still give me support if the replication process have a fault after time?

I have AHV 5.11 cluster, i configured br1 with CVM eth2 interface attached and followed all the instructions via cli to configure CVM multihoming to segregate 1g and 10g network. My issues is inspite of attaching cvm eth2 interface to br1, i am not able to access cvm eth2 via br1 network but i can access it via br0.

I’m attempting to import an RVTools into the Sizer tool. I want to exclude some of the VMs before import by editing the RVTools file.  When I edit the file and try to import, I get an error “Host cluster cell not found”There are more than 300 VMs, so I can’t import on the VM level and just disable the individual workloads there.Any ideas or methods anyone would suggest to editing the RVTools beforehand? Thanks in advance!

We have a lab setup with 3 Nutanix nodes in one cluster with model NX-1175S-G6, this Servers have a 2x10GbE ports on each and we have a network switch which is unfortunately Gigabit Ethernet switch DGS-1210-52MP (does not have any 10 GbE switch available right now) for our lab setup.  and I want to bridge successfully an active-active bond and LAG,LACP will be enabled and configured on the switch . and I want to make sure the speed is negotiated and to able to work with 1 GbE. Also has a need a no more massage  from ncc check “CVM is not uplinked to any 10Gbps nics on bridge/vSwitch br0”. So any expert advice will be taken seriously. I need some help for understanding Prism Central Image Management. When I read Prism Central Guide (Limitations) I don’t understand “During the copy operation, cluster A becomes unavailable.”This comment in Prism Central Guide mean that can’t use “cluster A” Prism Element ? Also that mean All acting is suspend like VM Provisioning Operation in "cluster A"?I want to know side effect and exactly what act is occurred using “cluster A” when becomes unavailable. We’ve been recently exploring upgrading some code that interfaces with our Nutanix prism element from the v1 API to v3 and we are having issues retrieving the CVM from the v2 or v3 of the API.Looking at the response from the: /vms/ call on the v1 API we receive 10 total entries which include our CVM:v1 vms API resultv1 vms CVM resultYet when we make the equivalent API call on versions 2 or 3 we are only receiving 9 entries back and the result set does not contain the CVM:v2 vms API resultv3 vms API resultAfter searching through the API documentation nothing immediately stands out as an appropriate endpoint to get the CVM.  My question then is how do we retrieve the CVM when using the v3 or v2 API?

I have a 20+node cluster and 2 nodes had multiple hard drives go out between them ( 1 SSD and 6 SATA). They are all showing stuck. I do not see any replication happening when using this command: curator_cli get_under_replication_info summary=true.All nodes show up good when using this command:nodetool -h 0 ring | grep Normal Would it be a good idea to kill the tasks with this command:cvm$ progress_monitor_cli --entity_id="<Entity_ID>" --entity_type=<Package_Name> --operation=<Operation -delete 

Once we run out of the space while deploying new VM, why we need to Deselect Enable HA (it must be set within the limitations or Admissioin Control must restrict to deploy beyone the threshold), where the VM's going to reboot on other hosts (which will be a production impact)

Interested to test Nutanix Move on my CE installation in my lab. But I didn't found how to download it without registration on portal , that require real Nutanix serial number. How may I download Nutanix move? Please provide needed link.

Hi I’m new to nutanix with ESXi. I recently deployed a 4 nodes nutanix with esxi. I’ve created containers and add the nodes to the vCenter. I have not add the vCenter to the Prism. I check at prism and there’s a warning saying the hosts are not connected to vCenter. Anyone encounter this issue before?
