Hello everyone, new to Nutanix and we are starting to migrate off of ESXi and into Nutanix. We have migrated 20 Vm’s with no issues. We are doing our next 10 migration and we are reciening this error when seeding “Reader client error: rpc error: code = DeadlineExceeded desc = context deadline exceeded” I have verified that Nutanix Drivers are installed on the source VM’s. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
If you’re working with a Nutanix AHV Cluster and need to download IOS files, here’s a step-by-step guide to make the process seamless.Step 1: Connect to CVM via SSHOpen a secure shell (SSH) session to one of the Controller Virtual Machines (CVM) in your Nutanix cluster. Use the following command:ssh nutanix@<CVM-IP-Address>Step 2: List Available ImagesOnce connected, use the Nutanix Acropolis Command Line Interface (acli) to list available images:#acli image.listStep 3: Copy Image UUIDIdentify the IOS image you want to download and copy its UUID.#acli image.get <Image-UUID>From the results, copy the vdisk_uuid associated with the desired imageStep 4: Download Using WinSCPDownload and install WinSCP, a popular file transfer tool. Connect to one of the CVM IP addresses on port 2222 using the SFTP protocol. Ensure that you use the username ‘admin,’ not the Nutanix CVM username.Navigate to the container and locate the disk image corresponding to the previously copied vdisk_uuid
As far as I know, Nutanix CVM uses CentOS 7. But from official announcement, CentOS will EOL June 30, 2024. Will Nutanix plan to use another version of CentOS?

>This customer requires to do implement the DX380 Foundation Service without vCenter(vCSA).>Is it acceptable to provide services without vCenter as a service requirement? There should be no vCenter when you provide the service. However, I think there must be some restrictions regarding settings. For example, LACP settings etc. This is because vDS creation is not possible. So, explain to us your service requirements to our customers.
HiFrom my playbook using admin/password from vault to connect to PC and then list vms. From that result I select data and use in set_fact. I backed up the disk files of the virtual machine to a non NFS environment through SFTP, and now I want to upload the files to CVM through SFTP. However, the upload speed of SFTP is too slow. A regular virtual machine disk file has at least 200GB, and uploading takes several hours. I tried using multithreading to split files and upload them in parallel, but merging these small files after uploading still requires the same upload time. Then I tried to create a 200GB empty file, but it still took a few hours for SFTP. May I ask if there is any way to solve this problem
A Red Hat VM is freezing on the Nutanix platform. VM unresponsive and no logging.Has anyone experienced this, and any suggestions on what to do to figure out what is going on? Was a bit unsure which category to raise this question. Thanx.

Hi all, I have some NX-1065-G8 & NX-8155-G8 nodes, and I want to move them to new PDUs online. What would be the proper procedure to do this? Should I just disconnect the power cords one by one of a PDU and then reconnect they one by one to the new PDU, check the status after each disconnect and reconnect to make sure the status is normal. And then do the same for the other side of the PDU? Any command or GUI operation is needed, for example, disable the power supply of a node before disconnect? Appreciated for any comments.
I just installed PC 2023.03 and want to use LCM dark site. But when I switch to lcm, always Loading. Any place need set?
