Hi All,

We’ve got a cluster which we have recently not renewed support/maintenance on as we are in the process of decommissioning it, however still have some workloads which are lagging behind being decommissioned.

Noticed today that the license expiry is approaching (November 2021), what will happen once the license expires?

@NoDowt There should not be any impact to your cluster. License expiry will generate a red banner on top of Prism page stating some details about an expired license. However, having an expired license on Prism element cluster doesn’t affect the cluster performance and functionality as of today.

Hopefully we wont need to get to that, and we’ll get on top of the decommissioning. But re-assuring to know no functionality will be lost, just in case.

@Nupur.Sakhalkar I’m in a similar situation.  My PO is processing but not be completed before the expiration.  Can you confirm that what you wrote above is still the case?

from AOS (NCI) > 6.7.1 and Prism Central (NCM)  >2023.4 

If your license expires and you do not renew it, you lose access to functionalities depending on what the license is and when it expired.
