Hi Can anybody help me on below quarry please. I am new  to  the File migration in the nutanixnow we are planning to migration from existing NetApp file shares to Nutanix files ,here i don’t know whare i can start and how we can migrate.anybody help me on this please as soon as possible.What are the pre-requisites for this…?and how we have to Migration from existing NetApp file shares to Nutanix files please help me to understand on this..? Please help me anyone ASAP..? 

RDP to guest vm’s running Windows Server 2022 are freezing a few seconds after connecting. Running latest VirtIO drivers 1.1.7. After rebooting the guest, RDP seems to work ok for an hour or so before freezing again. Guest memory utilization 48%, CPU 3-5% so no issue there.

Hello all, We are gettign following error while upgrading software in Nutanix via LCM.Operation Failed. Reason: Update of Network Controller failed on 192.168.26.140 (environment pc) at stage 1 with error: [Upgrade task (df11fd35-c7a5-46c6-acd4-9d590266ec7d) failed: Failed NetworkControllerUpgradePrechecks Clusters 0005fa4f-3e15-6e8b-02d9-7cc255305cd6:20220304.478 satisfying the current minimum AHV version (20201105.2076) do not satisfy this upgrade's target minimum AHV version (20230302.63).] Logs have been collected and are available to download on 192.168.26.140 at /home/nutanix/data/log_collector/lcm_logs__192.168.26.140__2024-01-19_12-20-29.393673.tar.gz We were on really old version of softwares so as a part of upgrade process, we started upgrading NCC, PC, Foundation, AOS, AHV and then softwares. But now PC is reporting we are on high version of AHV which those softwares do not support. Please assist.  

I have 5 vms in one consistency group and 1 vm one consistency group in same protection domain.I took manual snapshot, it trigger only one snapshot, is it correct?

I’m wanting (for testing backups) to convert a disk on a VG from thin provisioned to thick. I’m not sure how to do this with ncli/acli, API or UI. Is this going to require qemu image commands?

in remote site compression, on wire compression will help the replication speed and does it have any pros and cons by enabling this feature.

 I have 5 vms to be replicated one by one manually, If I add the 2nd vm to protection domain and take the manual snapshot, will it take only chnages and 2nd vm or it will take completed 2 vms again

Hi,can anybody please help me on below query….? I need to migrate the VMs from Nutanix cluster to Nutanix cluster While configuring the remote site for Async  Disasterrecovry there i have seen two options are 1.Network Maping and 2. Storage container .here my doubt is, which vlan i need mention..?Which storage container need to map…?Please help me step by step on this.. Please find the snap for your reference and this is for only reference not exact one.kindly acknowledge it ASAP.

I have situation where prod cluster have multiple vlans and dr cluster had only one vlan, how to map multiple vlans to single vlan in remote site configuration in protection domain based replication

my vm size is 500gb but used space is 48gb, my replication still running after 55gb, may i know the reason

HiI have an intermittent issue where VMs can’t contact VMs on other hosts.  I’m trying to find a pattern with timings and the hosts involved but haven’t found one yet.When a VM can’t reach a VM on another host,  the problem can be resolved by migrating the VMs to the same physical NX hoste.g. VM1 on Host1 can’t reach VM2 on Host2,  workaround is to migrate VM2 to Host1This leads me to believe there is a problem with the network between hosts.  Each host has 2 uplinks going to 2 switches with active-active load balancing and my current theory is the problem lies with the aggregation.   Perhaps packets are leaving eth2 and returning on eth3?I’m going to change the OVS bond mode from Balance-TCP to Active-Backup and see what happens.  I don’t need the throughput of 2 active links so perhaps this should have been the config from the startQuestion - has anyone else seen this behaviour on your cluster?  Environment:4 no

Hi all, I’m a bit confused about number of vCPU that should be assigned to FSVM. For example, I have 4 nodes and each node with 2 sockets (i.e. 2 vCPU) and each with 16 cores (i.e. total 32 cores per node). When creating FSVM, for example, each FSVM needs 8 vCPUs, but I have 2 vCPUs per node only. And we need at least 3 FSVM, that means we need 24 vCPUs. Is that mean I must have at least 12 nodes? And each vCPU with 1 core only?
