Hello,I Hope finding some help here, I have a now freshly outdated 3 nodes NX-1065-G5 on AOS 6.5.2 LTS with Starter License, recently a SSD crashed on a node and CVM failed.My nutanix portal is now closed, and documentation access is restricted...Cluster is in production with now no resiliency,I manage to find a new accepted SSD and start the phoenix repair process to rebuild the CVM.CVM started now successfully, wrong management IP after phoenir repair, so I set it up in /etc/sysconfig/ifcfg-eth0 OK, now I can ping it, BUT CVM didn’t rejoin the cluster.What can I do to make my CVM fully operationnal and getting again resiliency ? Hello everyone, new to Nutanix and we are starting to migrate off of ESXi and into Nutanix. We have migrated 20 Vm’s with no issues. We are doing our next 10 migration and we are reciening this error when seeding “Reader client error: rpc error: code = DeadlineExceeded desc = context deadline exceeded” I have verified that Nutanix Drivers are installed on the source VM’s. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hello,We will be performing maintenance on a network switch at our DR site that will require some downtime. This switch provides the trunk ports for our DR nutanix cluster. Do we need to shut down the cluster prior to the switch maintenance to avoid any corruption or will we be ok with just a temporary loss of networking. Thanks for any info you can provide!

Hello,I have one VM with 3 vdisks, and i want to share one of the disks with another VM for read access.I have read about using volume group, i dont know if this is the only solution, and in that case, the procedure to migrate this vdisk to volume group, if possible with no service affecting.Thanks in advance and regards,Ivan
Hi all, I have two Nutanix Files (FS1 & FS2) created in the same cluster, FS1 has replication protection and 3 shares created (e.g. share1, share2, share3), FS2 is local protection only with 2 shares (e.g. share4, share5) created. Due to business need, share4 would need replication protection. Is there any way to migrate share4 from FS2 to FS1 online?

I recently tried to deploy prism central 2023.3 by uploading the binary and metadata, but I couldn't deploy it because the customer didn't have dns and ntp, and also didn't need the microservices. There is a way to deploy it without it?
We got a couple of servers with 2 x Dual Port 100GB Ethernet Adapters and 1 x Dual Port 10/25GB Ethernet Adapter, I need some clarity if AHV supports uplink speeds of 100GB. From the documentation I’ve been reading on the support portal, it mentions that AHV cluster networking only supports 10, 25 and 40GB (https://portal.nutanix.com/page/documents/solutions/details?targetId=BP-2105-Linux-on-AHV:nutanix-ahv-cluster-networking.html). Does this mean that those speeds are only for AHV / AOS and a separate bridge can be created with the 100GB uplinks for the virtual machine traffic?

We have a Nutanix Frame POC in progress and we would want users to login to their VDI session using the Azure AD account (the machine would be joined to AzureAD / Entra).Is this possible / supported with Nutanix Frame ? Right now we have integrated okta in the Nutanix Frame portal, however the user still logs in using the “frame” user inside the VMSo if it’s possible, how? I have encountered a peculiar situation here. I am synchronizing two file shares, and everything appears to have been copied successfully. However, there is one folder that doesn't show up in the target file explorer. I am certain it was copied because I can see it in the log. Additionally, if I attempt to create the same folder in the target location, I receive an error stating that the folder already exists, and it creates a new one with a '(1)' appended at the end. I have ensured that the hidden view is enabled in the file explorer. Any thoughts on what might be causing this issue?
There is a VG with 5 GB disk assigned for 2 Linux Machines by VM name, upon restart of VMs this disk gets disconnected, to reconnect the disk, I have tried removing the VMs from VG and added again, the disks started showing up fine.In the linux maching the NFS mounts are saved as persistant already.Please let me know if this is a known issues as all other VGs with same configurations are working perfectly fine.
Hi, they can help me, I have a PD and I deleted the local snapshots and schedules, but I still see the amount in "Snapshot Exclusive Usage", it takes almost 30 hours that everything was deleted and I see no way to reduce the PD. regards,
Good afternoon AllI have just watched a video about converting Br1 to VS1, during the process it shows that the hosts will go into maintenance mode and reboot, however the presenter said that unless the MTU is altered the VS will be created on all hosts with no reboot - I just want to confirm this is correct as this is a live production environment? Hi All,We currently have an 1 Block, 3-node cluster (NX-1065-G5) with approximately 50 VMs on it. It is approaching end of life, and we are replacing it with another 1 Block, 3-node unit (NX-1065N-G8). At end-state all of the VMs will be on the new hardware, and the old hardware will be powered down.Would we be better to…Build the new unit as a brand new cluster, and move all the VMs to it using Nutanix Move. Expand the existing cluster by adding the new hardware to it, and then remove the old hardware from the cluster. Has anyone gone through either of these processes?Thank you for your suggestions.Marlon M.

I am trying to alter any aspect (in particular I’m trying to change the retention to be longer, wtih fewer VM’s) - but each time I try I get the error “ The number of Server Virtualisation VMs in cluster: CLUSTER should not be more than total nodes in the cluster. “ Anyone know what this is please?

The demo playbook with same parameters works fine to get cluster info for "{{ prism_cluster }}".The cloning fails with error :KeyError: 'cluster_reference'What is missing in playbook ?Thx
