We have an issue with backup snapshots getting stuck on our cluster, and of the many ways we use to find these, one of them is running the command:nuclei vm_recovery_point.listI was hoping to start down the path of automating the discovery of these recovery points using Ansible. However when we run the nuclei command via Ansible, we get this error: "E0724 14:10:07.661153Z 15562 jwt.go:82] ZK session is nil", "2023/07/24 10:10:07 Failed to connect to the server: websocket.Dial ws://127.0.0.1:9444/icli: bad status: 403"I think this means that nuclei calls the localhost websocket on the CVM, but Ansible interprets that as a call to the server I’m running ansible from (ie the ‘controller’ server), and not the CVM I’m remotely connected to.Does anyone have any advice on how to handle this? I’ve also looked at API calls, but can’t find any that give me the same info.

So I was wondering what Akbor actually did here. In the reply he says he just, “This is now resolved, I used edit-zeus to set state.”Is there a set of instructions or some sort of helpful advice for what he meant by edit-zeus? I tried poking around but it seemed pretty dangerous for a linux noob like myself LoL Thanks for any help you can give, Brian Removing failed node 2 months ago 1 reply 52 views Hi everyone,We had an issue with SATADOM on of the nodes, which has been replaced. Unfortunately, we had to rebuild the CVM as well as they hypervisor and now need to add the rebuilt node back to the cluster. The problem is we can’t remove the existing node as we are getting the following error:Error: Cannot mark node for removal. Node xx (xx.xx.xx.xx) is to be added back to metadata storeDoes anyone know how we can overcome this error?P.S. we don’t have Nutanix support coverage anymore. Many thanks in advance.Akbor

Just wondering if anyone knows if there are any documented instances of someone being able to successfully re-inject the VirtIO drivers into a UEFI-based Windows VM? At first, we thought it was just a VMware problem, but then we had the same issue happen on a native-AHV VM. The VM operates normally for weeks, with regular reboots, but randomly after a reboot, it bluescreens with an "Inaccessible Boot Device" error. We haven't found a single "solution" that has actually fixed the problem. We can get the VM to boot into recovery mode, but none of the recovery options work. If we manually load up VirtIO driver from the command prompt (drvload vioscsi.inf) we can regain access to our drives, but adding the driver to the boot image via DISM does not help (dism /image:c:\ /add-driver /driver:vioscsi.inf). The server reboots to the same blue screen.SFC doesn't help, neither do the standard bootrec options (i.e. bootrec /fixmbr, bootrec /fixboot, bootrec /rebuildbcd), nor does "bootsec /nt

Hello,I wanted to know what is the oldest version of Nutanix that supports Linux kernel version 3.5. Also, if there is any way that I could get an iso installer for that version so that I can review, that would be extremely helpful. I’m trying to determine what version of a particular software will work with Nutanix and that software supports Linux kernal verison 3.5 and greater. Thanks in advance for the help!Matt White

Hello!A few years ago, there was a topic raised about this issue, but I would like to confirm if there are any current issues.I am currently using version 5.20 of AOS and it was confirmed that the installation was done with RF3 two years ago.I would like to change this to RF2. I know that it is not possible to change the FT, but I only want to change the part related to Storage. It seems that the command ncli ctr edit rf=2 id=container_ID can be used for this purpose. When making the change, do Nutanix ManagementShare and SelfServiceContainer also need to be changed? Will there be any impact on the service during the change?
