Hello Guys

 

I have a plan to refreshment nutanix from G5 to G8 or G9

but I have a question. Can I add node G8 or G9 to cluster G5?

So that I can migrate VMs completely before upgrading.

 

Please, someone with experience, please advise me.

You should be able to add a G8 as typically you can have 3 gen difference.  G9 node I would suspect have an issue; probably would show issues around disks or other components that are too new for it to properly detect and know how to handle.
