Hello everyone,I am currently experiencing a recurring issue with my Nutanix cluster: every day at exactly 9:35 PM, the cluster crashes and then restarts a short time afterward. Once it comes back online, the system automatically initiates “Repairing metadata for node…” tasks on all three nodes. While checking the logs, I noticed the following events:Power on VM after failover recovery Multiple service restarts of acropolis, anduril, aplos, aplosengine, catalog, clusterconfig, delphi, ergon, flow, lazan, minervacvm, uhuraacropolis, anduril, aplos, aplos_engine, catalog, cluster_config, delphi, ergon, flow, lazan, minerva_cvm, uhuraacropolis, anduril, aplos, aplosengine, catalog, clusterconfig, delphi, ergon, flow, lazan, minervacvm, uhura across all CVMs. The most recent crashes for these services occurred on January 8, 2025, between 9:31 PM and 9:34 PM.Has anyone encountered a similar behavior or have any suggestions on how to resolve this recurring crash? Any help or insights are greatly appreciated, as
Hello,I've already created a cluster using the command cluster -s x.x.x.x create and I'd like to add a second node to this cluster.I've also seen that some people have an “expand cluster” tab in the hardware section of prism element, but I don't have it.If anyone has encountered or knows this problem, I'm interested in the solutionI'm available if you have any further questions or need supplements, thank you in advance for your help.
SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) is commonly used for monitoring and managing network devices. It enables administrators to gather data about network performance, system uptime, and much more. In this article, we'll go over the steps for setting up an SNMP server on a Rocky Linux machine, enabling SNMPv2c and SNMPv3 for enhanced security.Step 1: Install SNMP PackagesTo get started, you need to install the net-snmp and net-snmp-utils packages. These packages provide the SNMP daemon (snmpd) and tools like snmpwalk for querying SNMP data.Run the following command to install the required packages:sudo dnf install net-snmp net-snmp-utils -yStep 2: Enable and Start the SNMP DaemonOnce the SNMP packages are installed, the next step is to enable and start the SNMP daemon (snmpd). This allows your system to begin listening for SNMP requests.Enable SNMP to start on boot:sudo systemctl enable snmpdStart the SNMP daemon:sudo systemctl start snmpdStep 3: Configure SNMPNow that SNMP is runn
