After I create my personal Nutanix account, I tried to create my Partner account with the same information, now I have duplicated accounts I want to merge it.
If I want to call this api for a vm， I must add this vm into a protection domain, and take a snapshot for this protection domain. Hello.After upgrading AOS and AHV (upgraded from AOS 5.10.1 to 6.5.3.5), I attempted to upgrade from Files 3.20 to 4.2.1.1.The first attempt to upgrade the File Server out of a total of four File Servers failed.After the VM update and VM NIC update, the VM change power state experienced a long time of Hang, and after 30 minutes the "File server upgrade task Hung for too long" alert was generated.An hour later, the "File Server upgrade task stuck" alert was generated and the File Server task stopped at 44%.I tried to force restarting that server and restarting all file servers, but it was not resolved.After restarting all file servers, the afs command was also unavailable on the CVM.The cluster status of the file server that attempted the upgrade is currently in the DOWN state.The Minerva service does not start and does not start the cluster.The shares of the files are serviced by NFS, the connection is normal, and the data can be read/write normally.However, Data Protection (DP) has st
We are running asynchronous Protection Domains and also employee Veeam backups of VMs. If we failover to the secondary site and then failback to the primary site, Veeam no longer recognizes the VMs in previously created backup jobs. We have to delete all the old backup jobs and set them up again. This is with ESXi hosts. Is that normal?
Dear, I received the NCC warning for “inode_usage_check”. After I checked the realted KB using df -i, I found root directory(/) inode usage is more than 75%. I also checked the actual space usage using df -h, the usage is only 63%. My question is how to solve the problem? Thank you very much!
Dears:I checked the “Nutanix Disaster Recovery Guide” and found from AOS 6.6, CG replication was supported on async replication, but not on nearsync or sync replication. Any ideas about CG when support near sync replication?The reason why I will have this question is we want to use CG nearsync replication to protect SQL server cluster. (Our RPO is about 10-15 mins), so I am worried about during planned failover or unplanned failover, the SQL server cluster could not start normally. Thank you very much!
Hi, I’m stuck while upgrading software on LCM.AOS(6.5.3.7) and others(Foundation,NCC ..etc)upgrades were successful, but the only thing I cant see on LCM is AHV hypervisor. I unzipped several versions(higher than 20201105.2267), and I even directly uploaded on LCM, but nothing shows up at Software Firmware Update tab. Attached is capture of Inventory How Can I solve this problem? Are these versions compatible?

I configured domain protections between my primary and secondary site.domain protections are configured by VMs which means that I have as many domain protections as VMs.After the first replications, I would like to make sure that the size of my VM on the primary site is identical on the secondary site but I find that this is not the case.I don't know if I'm doing a good interpretation.Attached is the capture of my VM on the primary site before replication and on the secondary after replication.Please help me with your explanations.

I am curious why when sizing a Splunk workload and increasing the performance profile for the indexers it doesn’t increase the ingest rate per indexer rather than keeping it at 100 GB. By not doing this, it keeps the same number of indexers Nutanix thinks it needs even though each indexer has more CPU/RAM. We have a subset of VMs that a group of users needs readonly and console access. This is not difficult with RBAC using categories. However, when we clone these systems for testing or new deployment, the assigned categories don’t get inherited from the source VM. Since we do this often, this is a management headache.Is this standard behavior? If so, any ideas on how to do this easily? I was hoping projects might be helpful, but I can’t find much useful documentation or examples to guide me.
I have encountered a peculiar situation here. I am synchronizing two file shares, and everything appears to have been copied successfully. However, there is one folder that doesn't show up in the target file explorer. I am certain it was copied because I can see it in the log. Additionally, if I attempt to create the same folder in the target location, I receive an error stating that the folder already exists, and it creates a new one with a '(1)' appended at the end. I have ensured that the hidden view is enabled in the file explorer. Any thoughts on what might be causing this issue?
I have an old cluster of 4 NX-8035 nodes running AHV used for testing purposes. The LCM update is failing with sata_dom_wearout_check. Is there anyway to skip that check when running LCM updates? This is old hardware and I wont be replacing any parts, just want to get updates to run.

We bought several Nutanix clusters in 2019 and on two of them, we deployed a cloud connect appliance in AWS via Prism element so that we could backup our VMs to the cloud. We setup retention to 7 snaps locally and 62 on the remote (AWS) side. The question I have for everyone that uses Cloud Connect for backups is, does the S3 bucket that gets created by Cloud Connect ever stop growing in size. On our HQ Nutanix cluster, that Cloud Connect S3 bucket is currently sitting at 164TB and 177 million objects. This is a small 3 node cluster with only 10 VMs being backed up to the Cloud Connect appliance. Current allocated space for those VMs is 3TB. Actual consumed by them as reported by Prism is about half of that. Looking at the S3 bucket created by cloud connect, I see that a lifecycle rule was created to move objects to infrequent access after 30 days. Implemented the Calm v2.0 API, have to retrieve the usage_stats(used and free space) of the virtual machine’s disks by using calm v2.0 API. Haven’t found usage_stats in the response for the API api/nutanix/v2.0//virtual_disks/{uuid}. Is there any other way to get these stats by using calm v2 or v1 but not v3.
We have an issue with backup snapshots getting stuck on our cluster, and of the many ways we use to find these, one of them is running the command:nuclei vm_recovery_point.listI was hoping to start down the path of automating the discovery of these recovery points using Ansible. However when we run the nuclei command via Ansible, we get this error: "E0724 14:10:07.661153Z 15562 jwt.go:82] ZK session is nil", "2023/07/24 10:10:07 Failed to connect to the server: websocket.Dial ws://127.0.0.1:9444/icli: bad status: 403"I think this means that nuclei calls the localhost websocket on the CVM, but Ansible interprets that as a call to the server I’m running ansible from (ie the ‘controller’ server), and not the CVM I’m remotely connected to.Does anyone have any advice on how to handle this? I’ve also looked at API calls, but can’t find any that give me the same info.

When building Packer images the temporary images don’t delete after completion.
