Dear All,We are using Frame with an on-pre AHV cluster. We have set up an account with domain-joined non-persistent instances. The sandbox is located in the same AD OU as the instances. Hence, it has the same GPOs applying. Our GPOs are not WMI filtered and do have standard security applied. GPOs are all enabled.The issue that we are seeing with GPO is the following. The settings in the GPO that is scoped to the computer objects are confirmed to be applying to the sandbox. also, on the sandbox, the settings seem to take effect as expected, e.g., when configured accordingly, News and Interests vanishes from the taskbar after a reboot.However, when I publish the sandbox and log on to one of the generated instances, the experience is different. I can still see that the registry setting that is corresponding to a specific GPO setting is present. GPRESULT also shows that the GPO is applying. However, the effect in the GUI is just not there. Using phoenix to reimage a node after a failed satadom, after phoenix is loaded, I uploaded AHV ISO so it can proceed to install AHV/AOS. It turns out I uploaded the lcm_ahv_el7.nutanix.20201105.2267.tar.gz instead of the AHV-DVD-x86_64-el7.nutanix.20201105.2267.iso. The install is now hung at 75% Node discovery succeeded. I have tried to install the proper iso, but it immediately failed at that same progress. How can I cancel this install so I can try again?I did find this error in the foundation log. It looks like the error happens if you use the html 5 client to mount the phoenix iso, but I am using the java client.
Successfully connected with my GCP account, added drive, configured as persistent, but still can’t launch - the status is UNAVAILABLE for both Sandbox and Utility server.
Dears:I checked the “Nutanix Disaster Recovery Guide” and found from AOS 6.6, CG replication was supported on async replication, but not on nearsync or sync replication. Any ideas about CG when support near sync replication?The reason why I will have this question is we want to use CG nearsync replication to protect SQL server cluster. (Our RPO is about 10-15 mins), so I am worried about during planned failover or unplanned failover, the SQL server cluster could not start normally. Thank you very much!
I recently tried to deploy prism central 2023.3 by uploading the binary and metadata, but I couldn't deploy it because the customer didn't have dns and ntp, and also didn't need the microservices. There is a way to deploy it without it?

I am wanting to create a role where system application owners can login and only see their VMs. I have a role setup that will let them see their VMs based on a category. The permissions for that role are below.Access Console VMUpdate ClusterUpdate VM Power StateView ClusterView VMView VM Recovery PointThe users can see their VMs, open console, and can power off/on their VMs. They don’t see the recovery points which is what I wanted for them to see. If I want to call this api for a vm， I must add this vm into a protection domain, and take a snapshot for this protection domain. Is it a good option to create a virtual Network without any NIC bound for the test network ? Thanks.
Dear community,I have a Nutanix-era setup in place with 1 SQL server currently hosting 3 differents databases. It has worked smoothly for one year now. The last week i realized under state that i got a message saying “Delete_From_cluster” on all the 3 databases. The odd thing is that they’re all functioning as expected.I tried to find something online about that kind of issue but I didn’t find anything. Is it something you guys experienced in the past?
Hello Everyone I have been building Ansible Playbooks to automate Nutanix VM builds and I have the need to create and attach a volume group to some of the VM’s. The Nutanix NCP module from Ansible Galaxy has been pretty much the only module I could locate that really handles the vm creation well. What I have found is that depending on where you go there are conflicts in whether or not version 3 or version 2 of the API is supported.While using the API explorer on Prism Central it is shown as volume_groups and appears exposed. When reviewing docs and next.nutanix, various API information it appears it should work but doesn’t and I can’t seem to locate any good examples.Anyone here willing to share code or direction on what they have working for volume group creation and management. I am currently on working with 2 clusters with Prism Central deployed. I am hopeful I can find a functional example of ansible or api calls that manage volumes and thank anyone in advance for their help.
Hello,I have one VM with 3 vdisks, and i want to share one of the disks with another VM for read access.I have read about using volume group, i dont know if this is the only solution, and in that case, the procedure to migrate this vdisk to volume group, if possible with no service affecting.Thanks in advance and regards,Ivan
HI, I tried to create DX360 Gen11 8SFF scinario with 2x 4410Y CPU & 7.68TB 2.5 inch Samsung RI ---SSD(P56763-B21), but Sizer shows following message and I can’t save the config:---Due to thermal restrictions on DX360 Gen11 platforms, if 8470Q/6458Q processor is selected, then drive type can't be SAS SSD or NVMe in cluster "Cluster-1". ---I think it should be fixed, or could you please show a workaround?

We are underway of evaluation XI Frame framework. We have create shortcut to the separate pages from the chrome (“Create shortcut...”) option in order to allow users to open chrome with predefined URL for example: Support or Tutorial web page.After onboarding shortcuts and publishing image we configured Launchpad to run in Application mode.When we open Launchpad by URL from the user side we can see onboarded shortcuts but unable to open chrome with predefined link.

I am passing this payload to to filter a VM. It works if the VM name is an exact match (case sensitive). How Do I make the following filter case insensitive ?payload = {"kind":"vm", "filter": "vm_name=={0}".format(vmName)} I tried different combination’s, but none worked. Thanks in Advance Yezdi
