slow performance with Citrix MCS

Hi, we have a new Nutanix Cluster with three nodes. Now we will move our citrix farm from VMware to Nutanix. But on Nutanix the VMs much slower as on VMware. We use publish desktops with Citrix MCS an Fslogix.Login with VMware takes 15 seconds with Nutanix more that 50 seconds. The Nutanix Hardware much better then on Vmware. So we don‘t understand why it is so much slower. Also we use the Best Practice Guide from Nutanix for Citrix MCS. so have anybody an idea, why Citrix is slower on Nutanix and what we can do to speed up the system?

Some virtual machines missing DNS settings post failover.

Hello Community I’m having an issue with some of my VMs post failover support has not been able to help me. We have a local cluster and a remote cluster. All of our VMs have static IP addresses. When I execute a failover the VMs receive new IPs as expected. 70% of the VMs will have the IP, Subnet Mask, Gateway and Primary/Secondary DNS populated for the IPV4 on the NIC. The other 30% will only have the IP, Subnet Mask and Gateway populated. The DNS settings are left empty. It is always the same VMs that have the issue. We have done a ton of troubleshooting so I can’t list everything that we have tried. Is anyone else having this same issue? If so, is the solution to just use custom scripts and deal with the issue?

Where is LACP in ovs-vsctl show ?

I am curious why the running “ovs-vsctl show” on a AHV host does not show any “bond” whereas the “ovsdb-client dump | grep -i lacp” command and the Prism GUI show lacp is present (the switch too) ? Memory impact on rolling upgrade

Hi all… I have 3 node DX cluster with around 50 VMs powered on residing on AHV. We are planned for a rolling upgrade, CPU and storage resources are good enough. However, memory utilization is a concern: Memory of powered on VM = 690GB Memory of powered off VM = 210GB Memory usage 91% Total pRAM = 754GB RAM Will this be risky for a rolling upgrade given that no pRAM is added and no VM planned to power off?

I’m trying not to need to re-image a node, but the networking does not seem to be cooperating.
