I registered on the Nutanix Essential event, and I received a promo code for the Nutanix voucher
I wanted to pass the certification before the expiration date of 15/10/2022, but I did not find the right place to pass the certification

thank you for your prompt response

Hello!

You need to go to https://www.nutanixuniversity.com/  where you need to find NCP-MCI exam page. From there you need to follow “Schedule the Exam” section. Then you will be redirected to the PSI page, where you can book your time spot and apply your promo code.

@mikkisse I had the same question as @ayoub jadia and found this thread.

However, I’m unable to use the code to register for an NCA exam.

Here is the method I’m using:

  • From Nutanix university, view the “Schedule the Exam” lesson in the NCA 5.20 course
  • Click the URL which sends me to the exam scheduler
  • I’m automatically logged into home.psiexams.com
  • I type in the exam code provided in the “Testing event invitation code” box and press enter
  • The page returns the error “Please provide the valid Invitation Code”.  See screenshot below

We recently signed up as Nutanix customers and haven’t done any exams before.  Not sure if I’m missing some part part of the process.

Do you have any recommendation on how to proceed?

Hello!

I’m not sure which kind of promo code you’re using, but assuming, that it's an exam discount.

So when you move to https://home.psiexams.com/ you need to find NCA 5.20 exam from the list then click to schedule and follow the instructions. You need to apply your promo at the payment section.

When I search for the NCA 5.20 exam, I can't find anything, and even the promo code doesn't work NESS22XM
Can you test on your side ?

Everything is ok for me.

@mikkisse this is an excellent reply, thank you for the walkthrough.

When I’m logged into psiexams I don’t have access to the same options you do (see screenshot below).  There’s no way for me to select an exam or provide payment details, which means I’m not able to get to the point where I can enter the promo code at checkout.

It might have something to do with the fact that I’m logging into PSI via some kind of Nutanix university SSO redirect.

I’ve reached out to support@university.nutanix.com and they’ve informed me that they’re looking into enabling something on my company’s accounts.  I’ll update the thread with more info once we’ve resolved the issue.

Never faced the problem like you. I hope support will help you to figure it out.

Issue is resolved.

After Nutanix support updated our accounts, the exams showed up in PSI as expected, and I was able to register for the exam.

@ayoub jadia I’d recommend reaching out to support@university.nutanix.com for assistance, your account might have a similar problem.

My PSI dashboard now looks like this:
