Hello Nutanix Community,We are running Nutanix HCI on Lenovo servers having three-node cluster & currently the cluster has less capacity. We have 2 empty HDD slots on each Lenovo serves and we are planning to insert same capacity HDD drives on all 3 servers. So totally 6 HDD with a capacity of 2.4TB each.I would like to know how to configure and expand the storage? Please note that I’m new to Nutanix so kindly help me from scratch:-)Thanks in advance to everyone.
Hey guys, newbie to the forum here. I recently setup a ce version of Nutanix in our work lab environment on vsphere. Up until last week I was able to log into the gui, I can still login via putty. When I try to log into the gui now, via xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:9440/console/#login - I get the above message.I have also had the message "server is not reachable”I did think about trying the install again but thought I would ask the question first and see if anyone else has had the same problem and if so how they got around it? Thanks in advance.

Hello, I have a Nutanix 1175S-G8 and I need to enter the IPMI to see the status of the system hardware. I would like to know if I can enter the IPMI without doing the initial configuration or installing a block, it would help me a lot to know, thanks!
Hello,Does "Host Boot Disk Repair" require IPMI and cvm/host to communicate with each other? Is IPMI cable connection required?Does it fail if there is no communication? Thank you.

Using LCM to update Foundation to version 5.4 I am finding that it consistently fails on Lenovo hardware.I’ve tried two clusters so far that were both at AOS version 6.5.2 but both LCM updates of Foundation to version 5.4 failed.Ominously there is mention in the Field Installation Giude for Foundation 5.4 (link below) that “Software Update” should not be used to update Foundation on Lenovo platforms, and advises to use the command line instead. It worked when using the command line, so my question is: what’s going wrong when LCM attempts this?https://portal.nutanix.com/page/documents/details?targetId=Field-Installation-Guide-v5_4:fie-upgrade-foundation-vm-c.htmlWhat tends to happen is that most nodes except 1 or 2 are successfully updated, with the remaining node neeing to be done by hand from the command line.
HiNutanix 6.6.2.5What is the difference for the following storage containers, except the replication factor, compression, etc..) ? I mean what is meant to be placed for the certain containers. For example, when I deployd Prism Central, then there was an option between “default-..” and “SelfServiceContainer”, so my question is, which is for what (images, VM’s, etc..)..?Thanks.RegardsRaul

HiWe are planning on deploying new nutanix clusters. I was wondering, is there an alternative for microsoft active directory authentication as well ?Here I read MS AD, Open LDAP.https://portal.nutanix.com/page/documents/kbs/details?targetId=kA00e000000CxcyCAC My question is, does it support freeIPA as well for IPMI (mgmt ilo) and prism (central) ? Hi…I recently was called from a client with an old nx-1065-g4, and running aos 4.5.2.1 (i asumme was never updated).Solved hardware problem and rebuild the node building phoenix iso from a newer nx and installer from original cvm.I wonder if the latest AOS 4 branch (4.7.7.2) is available somewhere so I can also upgrade the system to a newer 5 or 6 branch, as recommended upgrade path.My client has no support contract. Is it possible to find these old packages? Thanks
Hello Nutanix expertsI have a question for youAmong the functions of Nutanix, the alert is known as a good function that can immediately inform the status of the clusterAs far as I know, if you don't press the resolve on the prism, the alarm that occurred once will not recurThrough the filter of the alert, I checked if I pressed auto reserve or manual reserveIs there a reason why the alert occurs again when it is not applicable to both options I'd appreciate it if you could explain it ============================================================================For example, a routine inspection conducted in the previous month asks the customer to confirm that the alert is a new alert because the alert has been reactivated even though the customer is aware of it

I’ve been trying to create webhooks using Nutanix API V3 (using Nutanix API explorer) and it works fine. The only problem I’ve been getting is to send some custom parameters along with the payload. Let’s say I want to send a custom parameter named cluster ip and value is “10.247.xxx.xx”. It’s just an example, but I want to receive this custom parameter whenever the event is triggered (so basically send this when event is sent to my webhook URL). I’ve tried googling it but no use. I cannot seem to find anything in documentation as well. Is there anyone WHO can help me with this?

Hello, I understand that if the node fails, the ha function is activated and attempts to recover. If one node fails in a Data Resilience Status Critical state due to a lack of storage space, will the cluster collapse? What happens.
