It likes it is not supported with the tool MOVE. Machine is migrated but never boot as hdd is never found. Anybody checked and got a solution as Nutanix Support can not? Thanks in advance!
Since we can now download NGT through here: https://portal.nutanix.com/page/downloads?product=ngtI was curious if it was possible to have a script automatically download the updated file every time it releases. I know we can do API in the Nutanix environment but wasn't sure about the portal. Or if anyone knows an alternative approach, please let me know.

Hi there, I am trying to install the CE version for testing in my home lab with a MSI cubi 5, I am using an NVMe drive and a SATA SSD for DATA and CVM respectively, and I thought I could use a USB stick for the AHV, however, I get a timeout whenever I try to run the installation even though I increased the timeout in the installer_vm.py, any suggestions? Thanks!
Right after I accpet the EULA the screen is terminating with this error “QEMU limits the disk serial length to 36, Serial is found duplicate after truncation XY”. Hi all,We are migrating from ESXi to AHV.I am looking for a way to add another vlan to the AHV hypervisor that will allow our third party backup solution in the same vlan to backup virtual machines using AHV snapshots. On ESXi we created an extra VMKernel interface with the BackupNFC server enabled for the same purpose and that works fine. The reason for the extra vlan is that we do not want to transfer backups through the firewall. Our hypervisors and backup nodes are each in their own firewall separated vlans.
I am trying to extend the Prism element manager to show the server hardware inventory and hardware statistics information. Not sure if the Prism element manager allows to develop custom GUI extension to show the hardware details. Any information, tutorials and or API guides/references about this topic, would be much appreciated. Thank you,Viswanath
