Dear All ,I would like to know if the Nutanix appliance coming with preinstalled ESXI 5.5 nodes or not. If not ,so do nutanix has its own customized image(iso) of vsphere esxi to be used? Can I boot the installation file directly from CD or usb to install esxi on nodes?

Nutanix nodes no longer ship with ESXi preinstalled (I believe due to legal reasons). Typically after you have purcahsed a block of nodes, a Nutanix SE will schedule time to travel to your datacenter and run the foundation installer against your cluster. Foundation will do all the dirty work of imaging the nodes with ESXi, as well as placing the Controller VM's. If for some reason this is not the case, you can use standard ESXi install images - the only thing you really need from Nutanix is the CVM.
