Tried getting there from “Files” link in main demo.nutanix.com portal, or from the “Files Console” link underneath Files. This doesn’t affect Files Analytics or Data Lens, except any links that take you to the Files Console will prompt. The admin creds provided don't work.
Hi AllI have a Sangoma SBC VM installation but for the NICs it shows 1 MBps unknown. Connection seems to work but I am worried about the actual speed if they only use 1mbps I have tried to install NGT on the linux base but it fails with incompatible OS : Sangoma LinuxI am not really a Linux bod so not sure what I need to do to get the NGT drivers on to th SBC - can anyone assist with some idiot style instructions to do this? ThanksEric
Does anyone know why a host would fail to bring up network interfaces after a host reboot? I have to go in and manually bring them up using IFconfig then everything is fine.
Hello,on a new Project we need to import a large VMDK - around 14T of data. Is there a way to import the vmdk directly without usage of the image service. My expaction was to add the Media which contianed the VMDK to a seperate Host and import using a CLI - is this possible? Best regards
What is the recommended snapshot age in Nutanix? How many days should you keep the snapshot?
Is this a possible option? I currently have a single node (MS-01) running nutanix CE and would like to add storage to expand Files. Is it possible to bring in additional hardware in nutanix CE for a storage only node?
Hello team,Always in learning Nutanix that’s totally new for me, I performed some tests today. One of those was to remove a disk to check if system will still be up. And… no :)All the CVM is crashed because it don’t find the removed disk.I have a Nutanix CE with a single node cluster. Is Nutanix storage pool not working as a RAID (1 or 5?) by default? Is there something to configure? Coming from VMWare, I make the comparison. On my ESXi I can lost one disk as I’m protected by the RAID-5 of the Raid-controller. Should I also use a RAID-5 for Nutanix? I read that disk must be in RAID-0 and Nutanix will protect it. How protect my single node cluster from a single disk failure?I certainly misunderstand or misconfigure something. Thanks for you help ! PS: The disk I removed was not one of those declared for the CVM during the installation, it’s a “Data” disk.
Has anyone set this up? I am having issues with Connectivity test from Storware/Nutanix Files I think that its URL related but the errors are very undescriptive

Hi all the expert,I’m completely new to Nutanix.I tried to install the Nutanix Community Edition onto my existing rack mounted HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen9 server, so I followed this YouTube video, but it’s definitely outdated, since the links shown on the video are different to the download links available from the post from 3 years ago (created on 29th September 2020) So I have downloaded the installer ISO (version ce/2023.03.01/phoenix-ce2.0-fraser-6.5.2-stable-fnd-5.3.4-x86_64.iso) and nothing else, since the other download links are for Windows, but my purpose is to install Nutanix itself onto the host directly to replace ESXi completely, so I thought the VirtIO for Windows ISO and AHV Plugin (.msi files) are not really applicable in my case.So it get stuck at the getting files screen for a long time, and then it errored out as the screenshot at the bottom, then a root login line showed up, I can’t even get to the grey screen to select the hypervisor and configure the IP like on the Ge
I have installed IIS on Windows servers, performed LCM framework in 2 phases for version 2.7 and after that was able to set LCM to use Dark site and to point to my IIS web server http;//MyIP/release. That allowed my to run inventory. However I can’t update any other component. I have downloaded LCM packages for AOS, foundation, FLOW, etc extracted with proper WinZip version or embedded tar. Have correct folders structure as per LCM Dark Site guide, but still LCM do not see any component for upgrade. What else I can do?And for sure for example my AOS and AHV requires update. Permissions checked, MIME types checked. CVMs and PC can talk to web server. Compatibility bundle has been extracted and copied to root folder /release. Don’t know what else might be the problem. Most likely something silly. Please help. And just FYI, direct upload to PE is not an option for me. I have many clusters in DarkSite and need to use web server as a repository.
