I am curious why when sizing a Splunk workload and increasing the performance profile for the indexers it doesn’t increase the ingest rate per indexer rather than keeping it at 100 GB. By not doing this, it keeps the same number of indexers Nutanix thinks it needs even though each indexer has more CPU/RAM.
I could be missing something simple here, but I would like to hear other thoughts.
