Request for Support Portal Activation and Ownership Transfer for Used Nutanix Hardware

Dear Nutanix Support Team,

I recently purchased a used Nutanix server, and I am currently facing an issue accessing the Support Portal. Upon attempting to log in, I was prompted to enter a serial number, service tag, or software registration ID. Unfortunately, as this is a second-hand purchase, I do not have the original order fulfillment email or access to the necessary information.

I kindly request your assistance with the following:

  1. Activating my access to the Support Portal for this Nutanix server.

  2. Initiating the process for transferring ownership and support entitlements to my account.

I am happy to provide any necessary details, including the serial number, proof of purchase, and company information, to verify my ownership and facilitate this request.

Please let me know the steps I should follow or any additional information you require to resolve this matter.

Hi Foxred,

 

To activate support portal follow the steps below

1. Log into my.nutanix.com and then click on "Activate" on the Support portal tile.

2. Enter asset serial number- xxxxxxxxxxxxx-> Click on "Activate". Once the activation is successful, you would also be able to access the support portal.

For transferring ownership and support entitlements to your account please open a support case or write to portal-accounts@nutanix.com

Thanks, Priya for your reply, unfortunately, I have done the above steps, and I'm. getting this error


“The email m.exxxxx@xxxxxx.com is not authorized for the account associated with the serial number 15S************."
