Compatibility with Nvidia Grid Release after 13.x?

Hey!

Since the support for Nvidia Grid Release Branch 13.x ended in August ‘24 (NVIDIA Virtual GPU (vGPU) Software - NVIDIA Docs), we are curious about updating to a newer release branch.

We are using pooled VDI machines mit vGPU Tesla T4 in our Nutanix environment so live-migration is a key feature. As live migration isn’t available in “newer” release branches by now i think we are stuck on this ‘unsupported-like’ constellation, aren’t we?

Is there somebody else in this situation?

Hello, i remember that i was in the same case maybe 1,2 years ago.

But i think now it’s supported depend of some limitations obviously.

First of all, thanks for your reply. 

As the article you just posted states,

 Live migration of VMs with vGPUs  […] however it is not supported for NVIDIA Virtual GPU (vGPU) software version 16.x (535.x.x) and 17.x (550.x.x)

i really think we can’t upgrade.

I can’t see any supported scenario.
