DR Nutanix with VMware

We have Nutanix 3 Node Cluster with ESXI 7 , I am planing for DR with Nutanix.

  • What are the DR option available in Nutanix?
  • Is it using VMWare SRM or Nutanix Protection Domain?
  • what is the minimal RPO and RTO?
  • is it possible realtime replication ?

  1. For DR, we have
    1. Leap ( Policy Driven DR)
    2. Mine (Backup Solution)
  2. We use Nutanix SRAs on VMware SRM an also Nutanix Protection Domains
  3. RTO
    1. For Async Disaster Recovery, RPO --60 minutes
    2. For Near Sync replication , RPO -- 1-15 minutes
  4. For Synchronous replication -- Metro Availability (with RTO -- 0)
