I would like to ask a question: When we deploy object storage, the IPAM network segment should match the network segment of the cluster, such as the CVM. Is the host IP address in the same network segment?

Hello @chenglu
see the network requirements here:
https://portal.nutanix.com/page/documents/details?targetId=Objects-v3_6:top-network-configurations-r.html
https://portal.nutanix.com/page/documents/details?targetId=Objects-v3_6:top-network-config-ahv-r.html

It depends on your deployment if you have your “Objects Storage Network” and “Objects Public Network” in the same VLAN.
Quoting the Guide:
“You can have two virtual networks, each for Objects Storage Network and Objects Public Network, but it is not mandatory. You can have the Objects Storage Network and the Objects Public Network on the same virtual network. However, it is recommended to have the Objects Storage Network and the Objects Public Network on different virtual networks for production deployments.”

The Objects Storage Network is recommended to be the same as your CVM/AHV network (See the notes in the first link).
