We are team of developers working on the hosting platform based on the nutanix cluster and getting issue with the enable console on new VM without disclosing cluster credentials ?
Hi Bhaskar,
I would recommend to contact your hosting platform. Can you explain what do you mean “enable console on new VM without disclosing cluster credentials”?

Maybe this will help, you can creatm custom roles that only allow console access

I’m not sure if I understand your question properly… If you are trying to give console access to a VM desktop without a user/pass I don’t believe that you can. You can always provide SSH/VNC/RDP access to the system to bypass Prism or create custom roles that only allow console access per dlink7’s comments. The only time anyone should really need console access is for initial OS installation or troubleshooting though so those other means and workaround might be more appropriate if its developers working on websites.
You need prism central for this. In central you can create RBAC roles to create what you need. If you want to grant specific users only access to the console for specific machines then create a project, assign machines to the project and assign the correct role to the usergroup who needs access to the console.
