I am looking for a solution to change the web GUI password of the user nutanix in Xtract 2.0.3. In the doc I only see how to change it during the first login.
I have already opened a ticket with support. But there I was told to redeploy the Xtract VM to change the password. This is not really a solution for me to spend all the time again to have all configured just to have another password.
Can someone help me with that?

We can use cli that comes with the Xtract installation zip to change the password.
Steps:
1) First connect via cli to the Xtract appliance using "-i" option
./cli-xxxxxx -i
2) It would ask for user. Provide user 'nutanix'. It would connect to the appliance.
3) Now, we can press tabs to auto complete the options available or directly type "password change"
4) It would ask for current password and then the new password to be set.

Hi @Bhavneesh

Thank you very much for your great help. This saves me a lot of work.

But it also makes me thoughtful about the quality of the Nutanix support.

Anyway. Thank you again.

Kind regards
