Manual upgrades can be performed with a standard NOS binary. (For upgrades to version 5.5 and above, use PC-specific binary and metadata files)
- Download the desired package from the following https://portal.nutanix.com/#/page/releases/prismDetails
- SCP the package to tmp directory of the PC CVM
- Extract the tar file using
tar -zxvf <filename> - Perform the upgrade by executing following command
./install/bin/cluster -i install -p -n upgrade
May I know the specific reason to upgrade the PC through CLI? Why not the onclick option from UI?
