Self-Service VM Templates option greyed out

I’m tuning RBAC to provide Self-Service users with just enough permissions for CRUD operations on VMs and Recovery points using the API and custom roles.

When trying to create a VM, I see the following message with the “VM Template” radio button greyed out:

There are currently no VM templates available in the projects that you are a part of.

So, where is the association of VM Templates to a project? I created a couple of VM templates by creating the required images and adding them to the catalog. Is there some special permission required for this (because playing with RBAC has made this greyed out)?

Well, found the permission. It’s “View_Marketplace_Item”. This is non-intuitive for a customer who hasn’t bought CALM as the concept of “Marketplace” doesn’t exist without CALM. Also, the message refers to “VM templates”. Are all these permissions documented?
