Hi Everyone,

Can someone help how to fix my problem

First of all, I have 2 new added nodes in my existing 3-node cluster so I have now 5 nodes in my cluster and each node are pinging successfully for AHV, IPMI and CVM IP Address

But the problem is someone unplug both 2 10Gb data cables from new node A and I got Data Resiliency Critical and after I plugged the cables back again it goes back to Data Resiliency OK but still the ping is unreachable from Host and CVM IP Address for that node

Please help me how can I fix this issue the Host and CVP IP pingunreachable while my Data Resiliency is now back to OK

Hi bughawpula,

Were you able to ping other CVM and hosts from this particular host/CVM?

If this is an AHV cluster, could you please check what uplinks are connected to the host?

You can find this by executing the following commands from this particular CVM

  1. manage_ovs show_uplinks
  2. manage_ovs show_interfaces

Thanks

Weird, I’m getting the same thing. I can get into the CVM from the AHV, but can’t get a hold of the IP from the network. Tested with physical cable different machine, on the same switchport, network is configured correctly.

in my case host is 10.0.102.20, CVM 10.0.102.21, can’t hit the gateway on .1.

So for whatever reason i set the tag on the port and it then worked.

On AHV host: ovs-vsctl set port br0 tag=102

On CVM: change_cvm_vlan 102

restarted CVM

Works!
