Hi all,
I have a upcoming appliance installation and it might be necessary that we need to downgrade the current NOS version.
Is there an out-of-the box approach / method available that could be used to downgrade an existing cluster? Or maybe KB-articles that could help me regarding this issue?
Thank you and best regards,
Andreas

Hi
Are you talking about adding a new appliance to an old cluster?
If so, just re-foundation the new appliance to whatever version of code you need.
That said, depending on the age of the old cluster, and that code, you may need to upgrade the old cluster to some "common" version of code.
When in doubt, open a support ticket and we'll help plot a course for you.

Hi Andreas,
There is no downgrade option on Nutanix. As suggested by Jon you can re-foundation the appliance.
It would be better if you upgrade the existing to latest stable version of NOS for better performance and support.
Please check https://portal.nutanix.com/#/page/compatibilitymatrix for your hardware compatibilty

Better late then never..
We needed to upgrade the cluster to the latest version, so a downgrade was not needed.
