We are planning to renew license for below nodes
| Nutanix(HCI) NX-1265-G7-2 Nodes |
| Nutanix(HCI) NX-8135-G7-3 Nodes |
But in the same cluster we have four G5 nodes as well, When we try to apply core license through PC, It doesn’t allow us to only license G7 nodes and we need to select all the cores from all the nodes, It seems that we need to separate the G7 nodes from the cluster just for the licenses to apply,
Are we missing anything ?
+8You are correct. The G5 nodes are end of life for a while now. So these cannot be licensed anymore.
Thanks for your reply, Is there any way to just license the G7 nodes only, There will be a challenge as G5 nodes are heavily consumed and G7 might not take that load on it, What could we possibly do at this point?
