Hello everybody,

I was unsuccessful to boot from a SATA CDROM in an AHV VM on different Nutanix-cluster with the same AOS 5.15.4 LTS version.

Allthough I explicitly selected to boot from the SATA CDROM, the VM says ‘Could not read from cdrom (Code xxx) and instantly jumps into 2048 game (what the heck).

As soon as I switch to an IDE CDROM, the system boots properly.

Is this a bug in AOS 5.15.4 LTS ?

Thanks

Didi7

Hi Didi7,

yes, that is a bug in the AOS 5.15.4. The issue is fixed in the AOS 5.15.5 and newer versions. You will have to upgrade both AOS and AHV to get it fixed.
