I tested a planned failover of Nutanix Files v3.6 today from local site A to remote site B after reviewing the DR documentation. I successfully ‘migrated’ site A to site B however I expected the FSVM’s to migrate as well. Instead, they stayed at their original site A.

I assume that this is by design and my assumption is incorrect or did I miss a step somewhere?

Thanks, kovitking. It turns out that the FSVM’s weren’t included as protected entities on the Async PD - so that explains why I never saw them failover when the PD was migrated.
