Hi,

I am doing 4 node AHV cluster decomission. I did all the steps and finally gave cluster destroy and ensure it was destroyed completely. I want to do factory reset of all the nodes where the hypervisor /cvm configurations like hostname, IP etc will we wiped out. Let me know the procedure on this. Thanks.

Yes, you can do. Keep your laptop / foundation vm ip in the desire range.

Normaly Nutanix block comes discovery OS , there is no factory image available publicy which can be flash back.

Once you distroy the cluster all the data is distroyed. if you want to remove the prodution IPs & naming i would suggest to do the foundation with dummy IPs

so you mean to say even if the  dummy IP whichever we are giving for node/cvm is not reachable from foundation VM, the reimage process will complete ?

Which ever dummy ip you choose , hypervisor , cvm, foundation vm should be on same vlan or can communicate . That's it.
