how to files data backup and restore?

Hello

There are sites that have VDI configurations.

Files configured on the above site.

There is personal storage allocated for each user using Files.

Is there a way to recover only one piece of personal storage other than a full backup of Files using Data Protection?

Do you have self service restored enabled on the share?

Hello @Kimdaeho

Self-service restore (SSR) lets you open and copy a previous version of a file. For SMB you can use SSR to restore files.

With Self-Service Restore (SSR), Files takes snapshots of the stored cluster data at the share level. SSR exposes these snapshots to the share or export and lets you view or restore a file from any of the previous snapshots without an administrator. The snapshots are read-only and point-in-time (snapshots taken at a certain time) copies.

Yes ssr is enabled.  I can't find a recovery method using ssr.  Is the previous version correct?

Yes. Just right click in windows on a folder or file → properties → previous versions.
