I’ve added vCPU to the VM but on the OS is not appearing same with the configuration.

Please suggest me.

 

Hmmm back in the days we needed to update the HAL in Windows but I never needed to do that nowadays. 

 

Something that is popping up in my mind is: “Have you rebooted windows instead of shutting the vm completely down after the change?” (I mean, "powercycle” the vm)
